Spanish is the third largest language in the world after Chinese and English.China attaches great importance to promoting Chinese in Spanish speaking countries.In recent years,Chinese learning has become very popular because of the increasingly frequent economic and trade exchanges between the Spanish-speaking countries and China,which shows a trend of children learning Chinese at a younger age.However,the problem in the use of Chinese teaching materials is that there is few Spanish language textbooks for junior beginners;some of the existing textbooks do not match the language learning characteristics of the Spanish cultural background and the very young children.Therefore,it is essential to select a set of suitable Spanish localizing Chinese textbooks for children with the distinctive,typical and specialized teaching materials.In order to provide reference for the compilation of Chinese textbooks for children in Spain,we need to make a comprehensive analysis of the unique part of the textbook,and study the reasons,ideas and methods of writing the textbooks.Taking the Spanish localized textbook for children Kidsway to Chinese as the research object and the most characteristic story telling texts as the breakthrough point,this thesis analyzes the materials and writing characteristics of the storytelling texts,and empirically studies the role of the storytelling texts in the Chinese teaching of children in Spain.In order to meet the younger children's needs of the Chinese learning,we have analyzed the typical story teaching cases and the supporting exercises of the teaching materials in the thesis,and made a discussion on the teaching materials from the perspective of characteristics of the children in Spain.In this study,literature research method,case analysis method,classroom observation method and interview method were used.The thesis is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which includes six parts:research origin,research significance,research trends,research contents,research methods and theoretical basis.The second chapter is the definition of the concept and the introduction of Kidsway to Chinese.The third chapter is the analysis and compilation of the storytelling text Kidsway to Chinese,including the origin of writing,the introduction of teaching materials and the analysis of the way of compiling.The fourth chapter is about the auxiliary role of storytelling text in children's Chinese textbooks.The fifth chapter is the interview analysis of the storytelling texts in Kidsway to Chinese's.The sixth chapter,thinking and inspiration,mainly summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the textbook and brings some enlightenment.The thesis found that the texts of Kidsway to Chinese is composed by the different types of adaptation stories or self-made stories,and the Chinese language points are integrated into the interesting stories,which is unique.The vocabulary in the textbook is based on the YCT syllabus and is scientific.The application of story teaching method has promoted children's Chinese teaching very well.Spanish learners of Chinese agree with this textbook,which is conducive to stimulating children's interest in learning and promoting the development and extension of Chinese teaching activities.At the same time,there are some shortcomings in the teaching materials:the contents of the text is incoherent;there are some challenges in teaching of storytelling texts for the Chinese teachers,and there is a lack of the introduction of the contemporary China.Finally,this thesis puts forward the inspiration for the writing of storytelling texts in Chinese textbooks for overseas children.The main contents include:combining the local culture with Chinese culture,the characteristics of local children with Chinese learners;localizing the storytelling texts;paying more attention to the logic and the story selection of the storytelling texts;clearly listing the essentials of the story type teaching preparation in the text notes.The research results of this thesis provide some basis for the optimization of Kidsway to Chinese's teaching materials,and the reference for writing and teaching the storytelling texts for children in Spain,offering some inspiration for the compilation of the Chinese teaching materials for the native children overseas.
