A Casework Intervention Study On Improving Women’s Ability To Prevent Online Emotional Fraud

With the development and progress of society,people’s lives have entered the era of the internet.The internet age has made people’s lives more convenient and given them a deeper and novel understanding of life.However,while the internet age brings rich dividends to society,it also brings some unstable factors,such as frequent occurrences of social problems such as internet addiction,internet information security,and cybercrime.Especially in recent years,there has been an increase in cybercrime cases,with new types of cybercrime represented by telecommunications network fraud showing an increasing trend year by year.Online fraud exhibits the characteristics of the intelligence of the criminal subject,the concealment of criminal behavior,the virtuality of criminal space,and the severity of criminal consequences.The country has introduced a series of policies to protect the people from telecommunications network fraud,reduce property losses,and achieve national cybersecurity.However,there are still some people who have been deceived,and it is not uncommon for women to be deceived in online emotions.Based on this,this study takes a female victim of online emotional deception as the case study object,believing that the case owner has an ability to change their own abilities by utilizing their own natural resources.The focus is on exploring the advantages of the case owner,helping them understand their strengths,and thus solving external or potential problems of the case owner.From the perspective of social support theory,help the case owner reconstruct the social support network.Based on research methods such as case studies and interviews,and other research methods,in-depth analysis of the case was conducted to diagnose the problems of the case owner such as "incorrect mate selection,excessive inferiority,insufficient online emotional recognition,and weak social skills".Multiple service plans were designed for the case owner,including "building trust,telling the case,analyzing psychology,eliminating disease foci,resolving conflicts,strengthening social interaction,increasing awareness,improving abilities,and saying goodbye".Finally,with the joint efforts of social workers and the case owner,through the final evaluation of the results,the social work intervention in this case has achieved certain results.The case owner has established a correct view on mate selection,improved the case owner’s confidence,promoted the case owner’s interpersonal communication skills,and improved the case owner’s ability to prevent online emotional fraud.
