The Learning story is a set of formative child development assessment system with clear values,and it is highly compatible with the policies related to the assessment of early childhood development in China,and in recent years,early childhood educators in China have been conducting theoretical research and practical exploration on the localization of the learning story.This study takes a case study as a paradigm and selects the middle class S child in the kindergarten where the internship is conducted as the research object,focusing on the implementation of learning stories in kindergarten art education,summarizing the changes of different subjects such as S child,teachers,and parents in the process,and then proposing corresponding implementation strategies.This study consists of the following five main parts:The first part is the introduction.It mainly includes the explanation of the reason for selecting the topic;outlining the purpose and significance of the study;exploring the foothold of this study on the basis of collating relevant studies at home and abroad;introducing the content,method and the basis of selecting the research object.The second part is an overview of learning stories and kindergarten art education.This section defines the concepts of "learning story" and "kindergarten art education",discusses the connotation,characteristics and roles of both,and analyzes the practical value of learning story in kindergarten art education.The third part of the study uses interviews,physical analysis,and observation to collect research data,and uses learning stories as a tool to explore the art learning process of child S.It presents the dynamic development process of child S’s art interest,art appreciation,and art creation ability,and compares and analyzes the changes before and after child S’s intervention with the help of observation tools.The fourth part composes and summarizes the findings of the case study and reflects on the whole study.The study found that the implementation of learning stories in S’s toddler art education brought positive effects to S’s toddler,teachers,and parents.The fifth part proposes strategies and suggestions for the implementation of learning stories in kindergarten art education from three aspects: kindergarten,teachers,and parents.This study applies learning stories to various activities in kindergarten art education,aiming to promote teachers’ relevant professional competence in kindergarten art education,improve children’s aesthetic ability and the quality of kindergarten art education,promote mutually beneficial cooperation between homes,and enrich theories related to learning stories and kindergarten art education.
