| The positive externality function of large-scale sports events has become an important means of differentiated marketing for major cities around the world,and different types of sports cities are competing to be established first.As one of the sports cities,the world event city is the primary stage of the construction of the world sports city with the precise target of sports event resources,and the definition of this type of sports city has not been clearly defined,and the influencing factors and paths of the development as well as the evaluation criteria need to be further studied and improved.This study intends to construct a measurable and scientifically effective evaluation index system of world event cities,enrich the theory of world event cities,and provide theoretical references for the research of different types of sports cities.Meanwhile,the empirical study will analyze the strengths and weaknesses of Chengdu in the process of building an International Famous Sport Events City,which will help the Chengdu government to grasp the real situation in the four aspects of "planning the competition,running the city,developing the industry and benefiting the people" in the process of building a world famous event city,and provide a theoretical reference for the different stages of building a world famous event city in Chengdu.To provide a theoretical basis for the formulation of strategies and implementation plans in different stages of building a world city of events.In order to build a measurable and scientific index system for the evaluation of the International Famous Sport Events City,this study uses literature,Delphi method,hierarchical analysis,mathematical and statistical method and empirical research method to conduct theoretical analysis and empirical research on the evaluation index system of the International Famous Sport Events City.In the theoretical analysis part,the paper defines the concept of International Famous Sport Events City,discusses the formation and development path of International Famous Sport Events City,and composes the development history of Chengdu in building world famous event city.In the empirical research part,20 experts and government staff with certain achievements in the fields of sports sociology,sports economics and management,and sports industry management were invited to form a team of experts to provide technical support for this study.Through the expert questionnaire,the evaluation index system of the International Famous Sport Events City event city was determined to include a total of4 primary indicators,13 secondary indicators,and 41 tertiary indicators,and through the hierarchical analysis method,the The weight of each index is determined through hierarchical analysis,and the importance of the first-level indexes are ranked as seeking competition,running the city,benefiting the people and promoting the industry.Through the evaluation index system of the International Famous Sport Events City,an empirical study was conducted on the construction of Chengdu as an International Famous Sport Events City,and the degree of achievement score of Chengdu was calculated as 80.96.From the degree of achievement score,the construction of Chengdu as an International Famous Sport Events City is at a medium level.There is still a gap between Chengdu and the International Famous Sport Events City.The following countermeasures are proposed for Chengdu to speed up the construction of International Famous Sport Events City:1)in the aspect of planning games,strengthening the supply and operation management of events to guarantee the quantity and quality of events;2)in the aspect of running the city,strengthening the development of regional sports linkage and enhancing the regional radiation capacity of sports;3)in the aspect of promoting industry,vigorously developing outdoor leisure sports and expanding new channels of sports consumption;4)in the aspect of benefiting the people,enhancing the richness of sports infrastructure and Meet the diversified leisure and fitness needs. |
