Special groups are an important part of the social level,in recent years the number of special children in China has been increasing,special education has gradually entered people’s vision and received general concern from many parties in society,from the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China to the deepening of the 14 th Five-Year Plan period,the Party and the state issued a series of relevant documents to help the development of special education.As a key part of education,physical education can not be ignored in the field of special education,and the combination of the two,physical education,will undoubtedly have a profound impact and optimization on special education.Special physical education as a coupling process is the socialization of individual sports on the one hand,and the individualization of social sports on the other hand.It is of great significance to investigate and study the current situation of physical education in special education schools and put forward relevant suggestions,which is of great significance to help the development of special education in China.This paper selects the current situation of physical education in special education schools in Meishan City as the research object,and discusses the development of physical education in special education schools in Meishan City from different levels by using the literature method,questionnaire survey method,interview method and case analysis method,focusing on the content,method,evaluation system,venue facilities,home-school cooperation and other dimensions of physical education.Through the research results,it can be seen that compared with other surrounding special education schools,the current Meishan special education school has the characteristics of medical rehabilitation resources,but there are still some points that need to be optimized in the actual physical education,which are mainly manifested as: insufficient funds for the implementation of special physical education;There are deviations in the concept of participants in special physical education;The low level of teachers in special physical education;Unreasonable arrangement of special physical education content;poor adaptation of special physical education methods;The stratified teaching of special physical education is not obvious;The evaluation system for special physical education is not complete;Families and schools are not very cooperative.In the interview,a typical case was sorted out as a case analysis,and through comparison and combing,four essential factors affecting the development of special physical education were analyzed:(1)students;(2)teachers;(3)family;(4)Society.In view of the above problems,combined with the current development status and influencing factors,from multiple angles and innovative perspectives,this paper provides the following optimization paths for the development of physical education in special education schools in Meishan City:(1)increase policy support and funding investment for special physical education;(2)Strengthen the construction of special sports teachers;(3)Multi-party coordination to change the ideology and concept of special physical education;(4)Improve the content and methods of special physical education;(5)Improve the hierarchical teaching of physical education;(6)Improve the evaluation system of special physical education;(7)Comprehensively strengthen home-school cooperation and attach importance to extracurricular physical exercise.
