A Research On Group Work Intervention In Youth Volunteer Service Awareness Cultivation

The development of volunteer service not only directly reflects the civilization level of a country and the literacy of citizens at the macro level,alleviates social contradictions and promotes social unity,but also promotes the growth and progress of individuals and promotes social participation at the micro level.The main body participating in volunteer service in China is diverse,but considering the initiative and effectiveness of the group,it is mainly adults and the elderly,and adolescents are generally ignored.As the main body of future social participation,it is a living force of volunteer service,and it is very important to cultivate the awareness of volunteer service at the adolescent stage.Based on this,this paper takes the youth of S community as an example,uses observation method,interview method and questionnaire survey method to understand the basic situation of the community and the current situation of volunteer service awareness,and analyzes the needs of volunteer service awareness cultivation.The survey found that the understanding of volunteer service among young people in community S is narrow,the value identity of volunteer service tends to be altruistic,and the willingness to volunteer service is high and the participation rate is low.The analysis shows that there are three levels of demand for the cultivation of volunteer service awareness,namely,systematic learning of volunteer service related knowledge and improving awareness;Improve value recognition and cultivate "self-altruistic awareness";Participate in volunteer service and cultivate behavioral awareness.In view of these findings,this study takes psychodynamic theory as the guide,and systematically explains the knowledge of volunteer service through the use of various tools by social workers in the early stage,so as to improve the awareness of volunteer service among group members.In the middle of the year,through the exploration and summary of community problems,the planning of volunteer service activities and pre-action training,the symbolic cognition is concretely visualized,and volunteer thinking is learned.In the later stage,through participating in volunteer service activities and timely sharing and summary,cultivate the value identity of group members,and cultivate the consciousness of action in the recognition.After the group activities,the process evaluation is carried out according to the group activity process records,the performance of the group members and social workers,and the results are evaluated through the group members’ volunteer service awareness cultivation before and after test sheets,group satisfaction evaluation forms,and community and institutional satisfaction evaluations.The results show that group work is effective in cultivating youth volunteer service awareness,cultivating group members’ deep awareness of volunteer service based on identity,and manifesting it as behavioral consciousness.Psychodynamic theory can provide practical guidance for youth volunteer awareness cultivation groups.However,in the process of follow-up,it was found that the effect of cultivating volunteer service awareness was timely,and it was necessary to work together from schools,families,communities and social workers to build a long-term mechanism for cultivating youth volunteer service awareness.In the process assessment,it was found that the practical ability of social workers needs to be strengthened,and social work institutions need to strengthen the whole process training of social workers and improve their practical ability.
