Research On The Process Of Group Work Infiltration In The Improvement Of Self-Worth Of Juvenile Delinquents

Adolescence is an important stage in juvenile life.On the one hand,minors in this stage should learn to respect and follow the basic social norms in addition to learning basic life skills and knowledge;on the other hand,they are highly vulnerable to their environmental factors and peer groups due to great changes in body and thoughts.The values and life goals which the individuals choose independently have a great influence on themselves,and determine whether they can have lasting "self-identity".Wrong guidance of values will make minors form wrong self-cognition.So that they receive negative evaluation in social interaction,resulting in negative emotions,reduce their sense of self-worth,and even on the road to crime.With the development of society,the age of crime is becoming younger and younger.China has also issued a series of laws to protect the legitimate rights and interests of minors and prevent juvenile crime.Prevention of juvenile delinquency is not only a legal issue,but also a social issue.On a practical level,aiming at the current problems of juvenile delinquents,the procuratorial authorities mainly implement the policies of education,persuasion and redeeming juvenile delinquents.They adhere to the principle of education-oriented with punishment as a supplement.At the same time,they cooperate with social work institutions to explore various modes of Help& Education to juvenile delinquents.Through correct guidance,the juvenile delinquents will be steered to establish positive values and stable social roles,to have a new and positive life,and to give back to society.This study starts from the practice of “social work infiltration in the judicial Help &Education models of juvenile delinquents".First,we point out the status that juvenile delinquents generally lack a sense of self-value.Second,combining the relevant theories,we analyze the factors which exist in families,schools,age groups,society,and are not conductive to socialization of the minors.We come to the conclusion that juvenile delinquents have great needs for correcting deviant behavior,de-label and re-socialization.And these needs can be met by increasing their sense of self-worth.Third,with clear gold and combined with the measurement of self-worth,this research designs group activities for improving self-worth.This research also evaluates the process and results of group activities.It is well proved that the infiltration of group work into Help & Education models will effectively improve the self-worth of juvenile delinquents.Finally,the author summarizes and reflects on the advantages and limitations of group work.By starting from the group characteristics of juvenile delinquents and the social status quo of juvenile delinquents with low sense of self-worth,the necessity and social value of constructing their sense of self-worth system are highlighted.And it is concluded that carrying out group work according to the theory of resocialization is helpful to improve the self-worth of juvenile delinquents.It will help accumulate practical experience in this field of "social work infiltration in the judicial Help& Education models of juvenile delinquents".
