The initiative to introduce "Ice and snow sports into campus" is a comprehensive effort to advance China’s ice and snow sports development strategy, with the aim of guiding the advancement of school sports in the modern era.Currently,in Hebei Province, the development of ice and snow sports has yielded commendable outcomes in the context of the Beijing Winter Olympics, and campus ice and snow sports have also laid a certain foundation for growth. However, due to the inherent limitations of ice and snow sports, conducting actual ice and snow sports on campus is constrained by conditions. Therefore, dry land ice and snow sports activities present an effective approach for promoting ice and snow sports on campus,as well as disseminating ice and snow sports culture and identifying potential ice and snow sports talents.Nonetheless, there are no practical teaching plans for dry land ice and snow sports activities on campus at present. To address this issue, this paper utilizes teaching theories such as curriculum design, constructivism, and system theory, and adopts a research approach that combines theory and practice to construct a curriculum system for dry land ice and snow sports activities that is suited for implementation on campus.By analyzing the current state of campus ice and snow sports projects, this paper provides ideas and assistance for advancing the sustainable growth of campus ice and snow sports. The study concluded the following:1.The course on dry land ice and snow sports project not only enhances the popularity of these sports within the campus, but also plays a positive role in diversifying ice and snow experiences on campus and improving the quality of ice and snow sports physical education classes, and this has garnered widespread recognition among both teachers and students.2.Despite the fact that ice and snow sports in schools have been implemented in Hebei Province, there are several challenges that hinder the effective development of these activities, such as inadequate site facilities, insufficient teaching resources, suboptimal teacher allocation, and inadequate safety guarantees.3.By constructing a comprehensive curriculum system for dry land ice and snow sports, the school physical education program can be enriched with more diverse content, which can further attract greater numbers of young people to engage in physical activities. In addition, this initiative can also contribute to the promotion of Olympic sports culture, the acceleration of the development of winter sports, and the cultivation of a pool of talented athletes for the future.4.In order to facilitate students’ comprehensive, scientific, and effective learning of sports knowledge and skills,as well as achieve educational objectives such as enhancing physical fitness and promoting sports culture,it is essential to scientifically position the curriculum of constructing dryland ice and snow sports projects, incorporating the four crucial elements of objectives, content, implementation, and evaluation.
