In June 2019,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the “Opinions on Deepening Education and Teaching Reform and Comprehensively Improving the Quality of Compulsory Education”,which clearly stated:“It is necessary to explore the integrated teaching of subject-based courses and carry out research-oriented,project-based and cooperative learning”.As the foundation stage of the connection with compulsory education,preschool education should follow the direction of national curriculum reform and explore the implementation of research-based,projectbased and cooperative learning in kindergartens.At the same time,relevant studies have also shown that the project curriculum can promote the development of children’s various abilities,especially problem-solving skills,teamwork skills,and communication skills.The implementation of the project curriculum in the field of preschool education can be traced back to the program curriculum of Reggio Orgio Education,and there are also many practices in the field of preschool education in China.So far,there have been many discussions on the results of the project curriculum,but there are few empirical studies on the implementation of the project curriculum in kindergartens,so this study conducts a case study on the implementation of the curriculum of kindergarten B in Luoyang City.This study mainly uses text analysis,interview and observation methods to discuss the curriculum implementation status of Luoyang B kindergarten project from six dimensions: curriculum concept,curriculum objectives,course content,curriculum implementation,curriculum resources and curriculum evaluation.The results of the study show that the implementation of the project curriculum of the kindergarten has achieved great results,mainly including increasing experience in project curriculum development,the formation of unique project courses,the gradual development of various abilities of young children,the enhancement of professionalism in implementing project courses by teachers,and the establishment of more scientific educational concepts by parents.At the same time,there are also four problems: lack of flexibility in project curriculum design,lack of extension of project curriculum content,insufficient integrity in learning goal setting,and innovation in project curriculum implementation methods.This study aims to provide frontline kindergartens and teachers with practical and concrete recommendations for the implementation of the project curriculum.Based on the above,this study actively attempts to explore the implementation strategy of the project curriculum in kindergartens from the two aspects of kindergarten strengthening project curriculum research and scientific management,and teachers’ scientific participation in project curriculum development and construction,which is conducive to promoting the better development of the project curriculum in kindergartens,and is beneficial to kindergarten curriculum reform,so as to better promote the high-quality growth of children.
