Research On Social Work Practice Of Child Care For Dual-income Families From An Asset-based Perspective

As women come to work more and more,as well as the advancement of urbanization,double worker families increase constantly;Contemporary parents pay special attention to the education and all-round development of their children,while in dual-income families,both spouses have less time to take care of their children,and there is a time difference between the time after work and the time after school,so the demand for child care services is increasingly strong.However,the existing care industry is uneven in good and bad,single service,there are many problems,and can not meet the needs of dual-income family child care.In the face of the contradiction between the demand of child care for dual-income families and the demand of child care industry,the government has included social work into child care services in the way of socialization of public services for children.However,there are still problems such as shortage of resources,shortage of manpower,lack of innovation and low effect in the child care service with social work participation at present.To study the existing child care service with social work participation,discuss the operation and advantage play of the internal and external resources of the project from the asset-based perspective,analyze the deficiencies existing in the asset construction and put forward the direction of improvement,which is enlightening to solve the problems such as lack of resources,lack of manpower and low effectiveness,and is conducive to providing experience for similar practices.To help solve the practical problems of child care for dual-income families.The research methods used in this study include participant observation method,case study method and interview method.Based on the asset-based perspective,this paper analyzes the "Magic Life" child care project for dual-income families in Mianyang City.The study found that the external subjects of the project,the Youth League Committee of Mianyang District X,the Spiritual Civilization Office and G social work Service Center,as well as the internal subjects Y community and Z Primary School,all based on their own capital and served the project through capital operation and advantage play,contributing to good service results.However,further analysis will find that there are deficiencies in project asset construction,that is,excessive reliance on external resources,insufficient use of internal assets in Y community and Z Primary School,and insufficient endogenous motivation and capacity building.In this regard,the direction and suggestions for the improvement of the project are put forward: in the project,attention should be paid to the transformation of the main role of Y community and Z primary school,the mobilization of assets and capacity building,as well as the incubation and cultivation of the backbone team.
