The new curriculum emphasises that teachers should strengthen the development and use of curriculum resources,and in history teaching,local history is also an important curriculum resource that deserves teachers’ attention.Therefore,taking the Ganan region as an example,this article explores the theoretical basis,current situation of use and improvement strategies for the application of local history resources in the teaching of State System and Social Governance in the unified textbook through literature research,questionnaire surveys and interviews.From a theoretical point of view,the organic integration of local history resources from Gannan into State System and Social Governance is feasible: it meets the requirements of the new curriculum reform,and at the same time follows the logic of history,which can promote students’ understanding and knowledge of history.The design thinking and pedagogical thrust of the textbook,which emphasises institutions,governance and their dialectical relationship,also fits in with the teachers’ path of using local history resources for teaching.Some of the local history resources in Gannan are linked to much of the content in the textbook,and this provides a basis for teachers to integrate the two organically.At the same time,a survey of the current situation of the integration of local history resources in the teaching of the unified textbook State System and Social Governance in Gannan found that some teachers are relatively unaware of curriculum resources,do not know enough about textbook content and local history resources,and are too limited to classroom teaching.The development of resources.Therefore,based on theoretical analysis and a survey of the current situation,when integrating local history resources of Gannan into the teaching of State System and Social Governance,while strengthening teachers’ own awareness of curriculum resources,they should also pay attention to the appropriate integration of local history resources,and pay attention to the relevance of combining textbooks and local history resources,to gain a deeper understanding of textbook content and local history and culture,so as to carry out diverse history activities.
