The development and application of local history curriculum resources conforms to the requirements of history curriculum standards and also conforms to students’ cognitive and learning patterns in junior high school.Gannan Prefecture is an autonomous prefecture of ethnic minorities.The development and application of local history curriculum resources in ethnic minority areas is beneficial to combine the essence of ethnic minority culture with the outstanding culture of the Chinese nation.This research is divided into six chapters.First of all,Chapter One introduces the reasons for the topic,methods,analysis of the current research status at home and abroad,and defines the important concepts.Secondly,Chapter Two describes the development of history curriculum resources in Gannan Prefecture based on necessity of four aspects: cultivating students’ national feelings,stimulating students’ interest in studying history and acquiring knowledge,strengthening national unity and preserving local culture and improving teachers’ professionalism.Thirdly,Chapter Three analyzes the current situation of the development and application of Gannan Prefecture’s rural history curriculum resources in junior middle school through questionnaire surveys among students and teacher interviews.Chapter Four discusses the development strategy of local history curriculum resources in Gannan prefecture.Then,Chapter Five put Gannan Prefecture’s local history curriculum resources into four categories based on the literature: one is ancient local history and culture;the second is modern red local history;the third is local historical figures;the fourth is local characteristic folk culture and local history,at the same time,this paper sorts out the knowledge which corresponds to the history textbook.Finally,Chapter Six illustrates strategies and suggestions for the application of Gannan Prefecture’s local history curriculum resources in junior middle school.The focus of this research is to put forward development and application strategies based on current situation of Gannan Prefecture’s local history curriculum resources in this kind of middle school.First of all,the development strategy of Gannan Prefecture’s local history curriculum resources is caught up with.There are four major development strategies: one is to enhance awareness of teachers and students;the second is to have joint development;the third is to compile local history textbooks;the fourth is to build up school-based courses construction.Secondly,it brings forward the application strategies of Gannan Prefecture’s native history curriculum resources in junior high school history teaching.The main strategies are as follows: one is the usage in classroom;the second is to open up a second classroom using native history curriculum resources in extracurricular activities.;at the same time,the content of the textbook and situation of the students must be closely related in the process of application. |
