The new cuirriculum reform began in 2001,The Program for Education Curriculum Reform(Draft) clearly pointed out: the exploitation of all kinds curriculum resources should be positively and “Ordinary High school History Curriculum Standard(Experiment)”also point: encourage and promote different areas and schools with their own actual situation, according to local conditions to use and development of history curriculum resources".With the continuous deepening of the new curriculum concept,more and more attention is attached to the development of curriculum resources in history teaching.Because of the unique advantages of the historical subjects which has rich curriculum resources,theacher can pay attention to the effective application of the local history curriculum resources In teaching so that students can learn through the theory and practice of multi way which can make study and life closely linked,enhance the students’ interest in learning history, cultivate students’ love for the motherland and hometown.Chongqing city has a long history which has rich historical resources and cultural characteristics.Such as historical text,historical site,ruins,cultural relic. Local history teaching has certain advantages in Chongqing.But research on the exploration and practice of Chongqinglocalhistoryresourcesinjuniormiddle school history teaching is very few.Therefore, to speed up the exploration and application of local history resources in junior high school history teaching in Chongqing is not only of research value, but also has some practical significance.The full text is divided into five parts.The first part is introduction part which describs the reason and significance of the topic, the status of domestic and foreign research, research methods, innovation and deficiencies.The second part tells about the concept of local history curriculum resources and its application value and significance.Firstly,it defines the concept of curriculum resources, history curriculum resources and local curriculum resources.Secondly, the significance of the effective application of the curriculum resources of local history Is very important.The third part is a survey record about the application of the history of local curriculum resources in Chongqing.Firstly,The local history curriculum resources in Chongqing area were classified.The long history of Chongqing city is introduced in this paper which divided into five categories: text resources,physical resources,oral resources,human resources,network resources.Secondly, through questionnaire survey of the status of the effective application of the Chongqing area of the local history curriculum resources were analysis and discussion, and pointed out the problems and causes which Chongqing area of the local history curriculum resources application.The fourth part is he practical exploration of the effective application of the local history curriculum resources in junior middle school history teaching.The fifth part is the further improvement of the Chongqing local history curriculum resources effective application of thinking and suggestions.
