The development of the national economy and the change of social trend have brought challenges to the traditional concept of the family,and the number of divorced single-parent families has been increasing,resulting in many divorced single-parent families.Divorced single-parent fathers are in situations such as incomplete family structure,difficult transformation of the role of father’s caregiver,and high life pressure,and children are prone to face lack of emotional support and alienation of parent-child relationships.Children of divorced single-father families often have problems such as social difficulties and mental health,which are closely related to the alienation of parent-child relationships.Therefore,social work needs to intervene in a timely manner the problem of parent-child alienation in divorced single-parent families to promote the healthy growth of children from single-parent families.This study used case study method,scale,interview method and participation observation method to deeply understand the current situation of parent-child alienation in the divorced single-parent father family where the client was located,divided the problems into poor parent-child communication,low frequency of parent-child direct interaction,and lack of parent-child trust,combined with the Satya family therapy model,analyzed and explained the reasons for parent-child relationship alienation from low self-esteem,poor communication posture,and rigid family rules,and formulated family casework goals and service plans with the client and family members.At the level of low self-esteem,iceberg metaphors are used to explore the inner world of clients and family members,improve members’ sense of self-worth and change misconceptions about fatherhood through dispute resolution.At the level of communication posture,through the meditation journey of drawing a family tree,family members can increase their understanding of each other,and through the externalization of communication posture,guide to experience the negative effects of poor communication,and promote the transformation of clients and family members to equal and consistent communication postures.At the level of family rules,social workers assist clients and family members in discovering family rules and drawing a table of unreasonable family rule changes in the stage of reshaping family rules,forming flexible family rules.Finally,social workers guide clients and family members to consolidate the results of case intervention,so that good parent-child relationships can be sustained,and a warm,harmonious and equal family atmosphere is created for clients.Through the development of casework services,the problem of parent-child relationship alienation in the client’s family has been effectively improved,the sense of self-worth has been improved,the sense of self-esteem has been improved,and the communication posture has developed in the direction of equality and consistency,and family rules have become more flexible.The whole service process effectively improves the frequency of direct interaction between parents and children,promotes mutual trust between parents and children,and creates a more supportive environment for the healthy growth and development of clients.The study shows that from the perspective of social work,the use of Satya family therapy model to improve the problem of parent-child alienation in divorced single father families is of great guiding significance.Finally,the whole casework service process is summarized and reflected,so as to provide practical experience suggestions and theoretical models for the problem of parent-child alienation in divorced single fathers from the perspective of social work.
