| With the popularity of social media in people’s lives,some scholars gradually use the functions of social media to complete their daily teaching activities.This study explores how to cultivate students’ reader awareness and thinking skills based on the online mutual evaluation teaching activities of social media,and based on the current situation of students’ lack of reader awareness and the characteristics of social media,this study designs micro-writing tasks and evaluation tasks to cultivate reader awareness and writing habits,and uses repeated practice to reinforce and consolidate them.This study uses repeated practice to strengthen and reinforce them.The results of the study showed that peer assessment based on social networks helped students develop reader awareness and improve their writing skills.In this study,we selected first-year students in a high school in Jilin Province to address the problems of students’ lack of reader awareness and revision habits in micro-writing,and used social media and online peer assessment to help students improve their reader awareness and develop good writing habits.Analysis of the data from the pre-and post-tests of the Reader Awareness Scale showed that there was an increase in students’ reader awareness and there was a significant difference.The mean of peer-assessed writing scores improved from 17.21 to 20.14,and the mean of teacher-assessed writing scores improved from 17.05 to20.48.Analysis of the data from both groups indicated that there was also a significant improvement in students’ writing skills and there were significant differences.The results of the study met expectations.In conclusion,the study data and interview results demonstrate that the peerassessment model constructed in this study is effective in enhancing reader awareness.The students’ writing accuracy,writing stance,writing form,and use of reader awareness techniques improved significantly,and they made greater progress compared to their own past work. |
