At present,online Chinese teaching is still an important teaching mode of international Chinese education teaching.Oral language is one of the important types of Chinese teaching,focusing on the basic stage,and at present,there are problems such as dull classroom,low student enthusiasm,and lack of interaction between teachers and students in the online classroom teaching of the primary stage of oral Chinese.Under this circumstance,how to focus on the solution of the above problems and better improve the quality of teaching is an important research direction of online primary oral Chinese.This study takes some local fourth-grade Chinese primary school students in Thailand as the research object,takes multi-modal teaching theory as the guide,task-based teaching method and scaffold teaching method as the main teaching method reference,based on multi-modal teaching mode,combined with network platform and modern technical means,takes the first volume of "New Target Chinese Oral Chinese Textbook" as an example,and selects the sixth unit "Talking Time" as the oral teaching design.The multi-modal teaching mode is used in the online primary oral teaching design,and the multi-modal teaching mode is combined with the primary stage Chinese oral teaching in the online environment,the practical teaching effect and existing problems are summarized,and the primary oral Chinese teaching mode that better adapts to the current situation is explored on the basis of the predecessors.The paper briefly describes the reason and significance of the topic selection,reviews the existing literature,and introduces the theoretical basis of the paper.Before the implementation of instructional design,the background of instructional design,such as teaching mode and platform,learners and main teaching tasks,is discussed and analyzed from a macro perspective.On this basis,combined with the selected textbooks,the teaching content,principles and methods of the sixth unit of the textbook are analyzed in detail,the design ideas of the teaching design of the unit are summarized,the specific links of the teaching design are generated under the guidance of the design ideas,and the implementation and recording are carried out in the online elementary Chinese speaking class.After the implementation of the teaching design,the results of the implementation of the teaching design were analyzed,and the advantages and shortcomings of the teaching design were summarized.Through the teaching design and classroom implementation,the conclusions are as follows: Firstly,The multi-modal teaching mode is suitable for the teaching practice of online Chinese primary oral course;Secondly,the rational use of visual modality,auditory modality,language modality and posture modality can all play a positive role in teaching,but excessive use of modality should be avoided;Thirdly,the dependence of online primary speaking courses on visual modality and auditory modality is the highest among modalities,and this form of video can mobilize learners’ visual and auditory senses at the same time,which has an obvious effect on helping to improve teaching effects;Lastly,beginner-level oral Chinese learners prefer dynamic modal stimulation.
