Research objectives: The electromyographic activities of shoulder stabilizer muscle groups in different push-ups were measured to analyze the activation degree of shoulder stabilizer muscle groups in different push-ups,as well as the contribution rate and synergy rate during the completion of the movement,and to compare and analyze which type of push-ups stimulated specific shoulder stabilizer muscle groups more strongly.Figure out which push-ups activate which muscles the most and work the best;Analyze which muscles exert the most force during the completion of the movement;And which push-ups have the most synergistic effect on muscle groups.Research methods: Eight shoulder muscles of 20 male college students in Inner Mongolia Normal University were tested.The MP150multi-channel physiological signal recorder was used as a research tool for data collection.By analyzing the experimental data,the EMG data of eight muscles in the shoulder stabilizing muscle group(deltoid anterior tract,deltoid posterior tract,trapezius superior,middle and lower tract,infraspinatus,teres minor and serserus anterior)were obtained.The activation degree of shoulder stabilizer muscle groups in different push-ups was analyzed by standardized integrated EMG,contribution rateand synergy rate,and the activation difference of shoulder stabilizer muscle groups in different push-ups was discussed.(1)The results showed that the solid ball push up,BOSU ball push up,and Swiss ball push up produced better activation of the posterior tract of the deltoid,infraspinatus,teres minor,and serratus anterior than the standard push up.However,the deltoid anterior tract showed better activation degree in different push-ups,and the activation degree was the highest in narrow-pitch push-ups and solid ball push-ups.The upper,middle and lower fascicles of the trapezius muscles were most activated during Swiss ball push-ups,BOSU ball push-ups and narrow pitch push-ups,respectively.(2)Under various push-up movements,the top three contribution rates are deltoid tract,teres minor and serratus anterior,which indicates that subjects in this study mainly rely on deltoid tract,teres minor and serratus anterior to exert greater force under various push-up movements.Data changes in the deltoid anterior fasciculus showed the highest contribution of this muscle during standard push-ups,split palm push-ups,and narrow-pitch push-ups.Data changes in teres minor and serratus anterior muscles showed the highest contribution of this muscle during solid ball push-ups,BOSU ball push-ups,and Swiss ball push-ups.The contribution rate of teres minor muscle did not change with the change of push-up style.(3)Trapezius and scapularis synergies had the highest synergies in BOSU ball push-ups and Swiss ball push-ups.The lower rotator cuff synergies and total shoulder synergies of solid ball push-ups,BOSU ball push-ups and Swiss ball push-ups were higher than those of standard push-ups,narrow pitch push-ups and combined palm push-ups,and showed an obvious upward trend.Total shoulder synergy represents the general dimension of the total synergy of the eight muscles involved,and is greatest shown during Swiss ball push-ups.Solid ball push-ups,BOSU ball push-ups,and Swiss ball push-ups can help improve shoulder stability.Conclusions:(1)Different push-ups in different forms have different degrees of activation of shoulder stabilization muscle groups.Narrow pitch push-ups,solid ball push-ups and BOSU ball push-ups are better for deltoid muscle training.When the deltoid posterior tract is trained,solid ball push-ups,BOSU ball push-ups and Swiss ball push-ups are selected for better training effect.When training trapezius muscle upper bundle,Swiss ball push-up training is better.For the training of trapezius fasciculus,it is better to choose parallel palm push up and BOSU ball push up.Narrow-pitch push-ups and BOSU ball push-ups can be used to train the lower tract of trapezius muscle.In the solid ball pushups,BOSU ball pushups and Swiss ball pushups training on the infraspinatus muscle,teres minor,serserus anterior training effect is the best.(2)Different push-ups in different forms have different degrees of activation of shoulder stabilizer muscle groups.Standard push-ups with unstable support surface can activate shoulder muscles better than stable support surface.Solid ball push-ups,BOSU ball push-ups,and Swiss ball push-ups can help improve shoulder stability.(3)The load of push-up training mainly comes from the resistance formed by its own gravity,and the movement is easy to learn and easy to operate,which can well improve the stability of shoulder muscle group,the collaborative work of shoulder joint muscle group and fight against the unstable state,while improving the shoulder stability,it can also improve the muscle strength of the upper limb.(4)Whether the muscles will show higher activation due to the unstable support surface of the push-up depends on the specific movement,task,form the muscles perform and the load the muscles bear.
