The Satir Model Involves A Case Study Of Psychological Adjustment Of Children From Drug-addicted Families

In recent years,drug use has become a major public hazard to people’s physical and mental health and family society.Drug users have destroyed the harmonious environment around them and caused distress and suffering to their families and friends.The family,the basic unit of society,is maintained by kinship and kinship,and the environment that is most affected from birth to adulthood is the family environment.Children of drug-addicted families are an important part of the family,and when their parents use drugs,there are concerns about their upbringing,most notably low self-esteem and isolation,and the possibility that relationships with drug-addicted parents may deteriorate in some cases.In addition,the vulnerability of this group to negative parental behaviour and lack of prevention or intervention is likely to create a vicious cycle between generations and negatively affect their development.There are many researches on drug users in our country,but there are few researches on the psychological condition of the children of drug-using families.At present,the Satir model is widely used in china.This study mainly takes the Satir model as the service object,analyzes and intervenes with the Satir model,and finds that the psychological problems are mainly caused by low sense of self-worth,poor family communication and unreasonable family rules.The author divides the whole practical process into three stages,namely,the relationship building stage,the chaos stage and the integration stage.By applying iceberg theory,family sculpture,weather forecasting,genealogy maps,and family chronicles to the Satir model,building trust with the perpetrator,unearthing the family’s poor communication patterns,and exploring the family’s problems themselves from a psychological perspective,guiding the perpetrator and his family to form outwardly consistent communication gestures,building new family rules,improving the subject’s sense of self-worth,helping them navigate their way out of trouble,and providing an experience for the family to improve their ability to cope through this intervention service.In addition,by deepening the understanding of the family treatment process,the local development of the the Satir model will be promoted,and a new perspective will be provided for the psychological adjustment of the children of drug-using families,namely,the improvement of the psychological situation of drug-using families.
