| The cultivation of students’ social responsibility in high school biology teaching is a necessary way to exert the educational value of high school biology teaching.Under the background of quality education,exploring how to cultivate students’ social responsibility in high school biology teaching and thus enhance the effectiveness of high school biology teaching in cultivating students’ social responsibility is related to students’ comprehensive development and the realization of the fundamental task of high school biology subject education.However,in the practice of cultivating students’ social responsibility in high school biology teaching,there are often problems such as teachers’ lack of emphasis on students’ social responsibility,single teaching modes for cultivating students’ social responsibility,etc.The cultivation of students’ social responsibility is to help students gain better life experience in practical life and fulfill their social responsibilities,so as to help students achieve comprehensive development.Because the cultivation of social responsibility in biological science is closely related to life,by using life-oriented teaching,we can overcome the problems of single teaching modes for cultivating students’ social responsibility,shallow understanding of social responsibility among students under indoctrination education,and insufficient application of social responsibility.Therefore,this study takes the selective compulsory course 1 of People’s Education Press High School Biology as an example,and uses literature research,questionnaire survey,interview,and case analysis to study the application of life-oriented teaching in cultivating students’ social responsibility in high school biology teaching.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)Through literature and textbook analysis,this study divides high school students’ social responsibility into five dimensions:ecological environment protection awareness,caring for life awareness,healthy living awareness,social participation awareness,and scientific practice awareness.It also combs the teaching content under each dimension in the selective compulsory course 1of People’s Education Press High School Biology.(2)The questionnaire survey shows that there is gender difference in high school students’ social responsibility awareness,and the practical social responsibility awareness of students is low.In specific teaching,the infiltration of life-oriented teaching in high school biology teaching is insufficient,and it cannot help students integrate social responsibility cultivation with practical life.(3)Through interviews with biology teachers,it is found that there are several problems in the infiltration of life-oriented teaching into high school biology teaching for cultivating social responsibility,such as inadequate understanding of life-oriented teaching among teachers,disconnection between teaching activities and student practice activities,neglect of practical application in teaching evaluation,etc.To address these problems,this study proposes strategies such as familiarizing with teaching materials and fully exploring social responsibility teaching elements,strengthening teacher training to enhance the ability of life-oriented teaching,highlighting the student’s main position,strengthening the combination of teaching and practice,and improving teaching evaluation,focusing on the student’s life experience in the teaching process.(4)Based on the proposed strategies,this study conducted practical application of life-oriented teaching infiltration in high school biology teaching for cultivating social responsibility after analyzing the high school biology teaching materials.The results show that the infiltration of life-oriented teaching can enhance students’ enthusiasm for learning biology,enhance students’ practical application ability of biological knowledge,and improve students’ social responsibility awareness.The purpose of this study is to explore the specific path of using life-oriented teaching to cultivate students’ social responsibility in high school biology teaching.Therefore,the research results can provide useful reference for high school biology teaching to use life-oriented teaching to cultivate students’ social responsibility awareness. |
