Comprehensive practical activity course is one of the hot spots in the current new curriculum reform in China.It has its own unique educational methods and educational values,and plays an important role in cultivating students’ core literacy.From the publication of the Outline of Basic Education Reform(Trial)in 2001 to the issuance of the Guiding Outline of Comprehensive Practical Activity Curriculum in Primary and Secondary Schools by the Ministry of Education in 2017,and then to the Compulsory Education Curriculum Plan(2022 Edition),China has implemented the comprehensive practical activity curriculum for 22 years,which has attracted wide attention and the school has gradually deepened its understanding.In addition,remarkable achievements have been made in the construction of comprehensive practical activity curriculum in various places.What cannot be ignored is that the emerging implementation problems of comprehensive practical activity curriculum have also sounded the alarm for the future development of this curriculum.Therefore,it is very necessary to make a thorough analysis of the implementation of the comprehensive practical activity course.This operation can not only provide richer practical support for the relevant theories of the comprehensive practical activity course,but also provide effective reference for educators to better carry out the comprehensive practical activity course.Because A primary school in Z city has achieved certain results in the implementation of the comprehensive practical activity curriculum,A primary school is chosen as the case study object,and the necessary research data is collected by questionnaire survey.The investigation object in this link is divided into two parts,including the person in charge of the comprehensive practical activity curriculum in Z city A primary school,the teacher and the fifth to sixth grade students in Z city A primary school.Secondly,the interview method is used to understand the problems that have not been carried out in depth in the questionnaire.The interviewees are not only the fifth and sixth grade students of A primary school and the relevant teachers of the comprehensive practical activity course,but also the parents of some students.Finally,using the classroom observation method,choose the appropriate comprehensive practical activity course as the object of observation.The research shows the current situation of comprehensive practical activity curriculum implementation in A primary school,and makes an in-depth analysis of the achievements and problems,and further puts forward practical suggestions based on the characteristics and actual situation of A primary school.After case study,questionnaire survey,interview and classroom observation,it is found that the development of comprehensive practical activities in A primary school has achieved remarkable results in recent years.For the construction of comprehensive practical activity curriculum in A primary school,apart from the teachers and students in the school,the education management department and parents all agree with the value of the comprehensive practical activity curriculum in A primary school.The development of "Young Eagle Quality Training Camp",a characteristic comprehensive practical activity curriculum for primary schools,makes the classroom flexible and improves students’ interest in learning;At the same time,A primary school strengthens the research on the comprehensive practical activity curriculum,which provides endless impetus for the innovative development of the comprehensive practical activity curriculum.Although A primary school has made remarkable progress in the implementation of the comprehensive practical activity curriculum,it is undeniable that there are still some problems to be solved urgently in this respect:the classroom management has not formed a perfect system,most part-time teachers lack excellent and experienced comprehensive practical activity curriculum teachers,and the curriculum resources are single,which hinder the development of the comprehensive practical activity curriculum in A primary school.In order to solve these problems,the study puts forward practical suggestions for the implementation of comprehensive practical activity curriculum in A primary school on the basis of two documents: Guiding Outline of Comprehensive Practical Activity Curriculum in Primary and Secondary Schools and Compulsory Education Curriculum Plan(2022 Edition).In terms of curriculum management,it is necessary to strengthen supervision and management and establish a sound classroom management system.In the aspect of teacher development,we should organize teacher training and guide teachers to realize the change of teaching role;In the development and utilization of curriculum resources,we should actively integrate the effective resources of all parties and make full use of them to form a strong educational synergy.
