Comenius proposed that teaching should be combined with fun.The kindergarten education not only has the characteristics of enlightenment,liveliness,and playfulness,but also should have fun,which is the core of the current call for educational concepts such as "teaching based on play" "curriculum based on play" "learning by playing" and "Learning through play".Professor Cui Xiliang regards "Interesting" as the first principle in teaching activity design.The scientific exploration activities are an important component of kindergarten education,and colorful and interesting scientific exploration activities can enhance children’s exploration enthusiasm,interest,and focus.They can promote children’s comprehensive development from multiple perspectives and aspects such as thinking,practical operation ability,and learning quality,laying a solid foundation for children’s deep learning in this field and methods.This study used the literature method to collect,organize,and analyze literature on scientific inquiry activities,interest,and the interest of scientific inquiry activities.The concepts of scientific inquiry activities,interest,and the interest of kindergarten scientific inquiry activities were theoretically constructed.The comprehensiveness of sampling affects the objectivity of the study,so the researchers chose a public kindergarten and a private kindergarten for investigation.Randomly select one class from each stage of the two kindergartens,with a total of six classes for observation.Use the observation record form to capture the fun performance of young children in scientific exploration activities and the fun moments of scientific exploration activities.At the same time,the researchers selected 16 teachers and 4 principals as the subjects of interviews,and collected data around the knowledge of interest,attention level and so on.This study encodes the collected observation data and interview data to construct a fun expression of scientific inquiry activities in kindergarten from the perspective of young children.The external expression is reflected in rich expressions,active behavior,and rich language.Among them,rich expressions include facial expressions,posture expressions,and tone expressions;Active behavior includes actively seeking material assistance,constantly changing exploration methods,actively showing others,and continuing to explore after the activity is over;The richness of language is mainly reflected in the abundance of tone,function words,and words.In addition to explicit behavior,playful expression also includes the internal experience of young children.Researchers have analyzed and interpreted the works of young children to find that interesting scientific exploration activities can provide them with fun,enjoyable,interesting,and humorous internal experiences.On this basis,the researchers further analyzed the influencing factors of the fun of scientific exploration activities in kindergartens.The teaching philosophy and practice of teachers have an impact on the fun of scientific exploration activities in kindergartens.The existing knowledge and experience,hands-on operation level,interest and curiosity of young children affect their thinking about exploration content,perception and operation of exploration materials in scientific exploration activities,Ultimately,it affects the fun of scientific exploration activities,and the lack of corresponding exploration materials,experimental equipment,and other hardware conditions in kindergartens can also affect the fun of scientific exploration activities in kindergartens.Based on the factors that influence the interest of inquiry activities in kindergarten,this study proposes the corresponding breakthrough path from the teacher and kindergarten level,such as teachers should pay attention to children,set up scientific interest concept and game spirit;For example,the kindergarten should enhance the efficiency of teaching and research,establish an effective teaching and research community,to ensure the interest of scientific inquiry activities.Based on the scientific inquiry activities in kindergarten education activities,this study aims to help front-line educators design interesting teaching activities to inspire,to further implement the fun-based“teaching based on play"”,“curriculum based on play”,“learning by playing”and other educational ideas.
