Research On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of The Development Of Sports Optional Courses In Hefei Municipal High Schools

Physical education elective courses have the characteristics of flexibility,diversity in form,and diverse content.Each school offers physical education elective courses based on its own actual situation and teaching conditions,and students can freely choose according to their own conditions and hobbies.Under the guidance of the 2022 edition of the "Curriculum Standards for Physical Education and Health in Ordinary High Schools",carrying out high school physical education elective courses tailored to local conditions is not only the need to comprehensively implement the cultivation of sports core literacy,but also the need to promote the comprehensive development of students’ physical and mental health,and improve the comprehensive ability of physical education teachers.Therefore,by investigating 11 high schools under the jurisdiction of Hefei City,analyzing the basic situation of the development of high school physical education elective courses,the strength of physical education teachers,and the allocation of venue equipment,this study explores the current situation of the development of high school physical education elective courses under the jurisdiction of Hefei City,and proposes countermeasures that are conducive to the further development of high school physical education elective courses in response to existing problems.This study aims to provide theoretical reference for the sustainable development of high school physical education elective courses,provide new ideas for further optimizing the teaching path of high school physical education,and lay a theoretical foundation for the development of school physical education characteristic undertakings.By using the methods of literature review,field survey,questionnaire survey and mathematical statistics,this paper takes the basic situation of the development of sports optional courses in Hefei municipal high schools as the research object,and conducts interviews and questionnaire surveys on some school leaders,sports teachers and students in 11 municipal high schools in Hefei.The conclusions are as follows: 1.The leaders,teachers and students of Hefei municipal high schools have good cognitive attitudes towards sports optional courses;2.The foundation for the development of physical education elective courses in municipal high schools in Hefei is good,but the integration of ideological and political education in the courses is not ideal;3.The physical education resources of Hefei municipal high schools are basically sufficient for the development of physical education elective courses;4.The expected and actual projects offered by Hefei municipal high school students are basically in line with their expectations;5.High school students in Hefei city choose sports elective courses mainly based on internal motivation;6.Teachers and students from municipal high schools in Hefei are highly satisfied with the current physical education elective courses.This study is based on the basic situation of the development of physical education elective courses in municipal high schools in Hefei,exploring the existing problems and influencing factors,in order to grasp the actual situation of the development of physical education elective courses in municipal high schools in Hefei.Based on the research findings,the following countermeasures are proposed: 1.Standardize the management of physical education elective courses and reasonably allocate the number of elective classes;2.Master students’ sports motivation and improve the content of physical education elective courses;3.Strengthen cooperation and exchange with regional schools to promote mutual utilization,mutual benefit,and win-win situation of resources;4.Improve the quality of teacher training and optimize the allocation of physical education teachers.
