With the deep integration of information technology and education,the ways of "teaching" and "learning" have changed,and online learning is becoming increasingly popular and an important learning method nowadays.With the vigorous development of online learning,there is also a bottleneck problem,namely,how to evaluate students’ learning.Evaluation issues are related to the improvement of online learning quality,so how to scientifically evaluate online learning has become an urgent problem to be solved.Online learning is different from traditional offline classroom teaching in that the entire process of student learning can be tracked and recorded,resulting in a large amount of learning behavior data.By collecting,processing,and analyzing these learning data,teachers and students can understand the learning process and learning effects,and guide and adjust students’ learning in a timely manner.This provides a new idea for scientifically and objectively evaluating online learning.This study uses literature research,interviews,questionnaires,statistical analysis,and analytic hierarchy process.Firstly,it defines core concepts such as learning big data,online learning,and online learning evaluation,and expounds the three theoretical foundations of this study,namely,constructivist learning theory,multiple intelligence theory,and the fourth generation evaluation theory.Secondly,starting from the current issues of online learning evaluation,the necessity of conducting online learning evaluation based on learning big data is analyzed.Then,based on this,starting from the three primary dimensions of learning attitude,learning process,and learning effectiveness,an online learning evaluation index system composed of 5 secondary indicators and 14 tertiary indicators is constructed,attempting to solve the problem of what to evaluate online learning.Finally,the online teaching evaluation based on learning big data is applied to specific practice.Taking the online course "Methods of Educational Science Research" as an example,the relevant data left by students on the learning platform is used to evaluate students’ online learning.After the evaluation,teachers and students were interviewed,and the interview results found that the online learning evaluation based on learning big data has certain feasibility for evaluating students’ online learning from three aspects: learning attitude,learning process and learning effect,and the overall evaluation effect is good.
