As a mountain in the ancient poetry world,Du Fu’s poetry has profound historical content,precise characteristics of the times,and lofty family sentiments,which can enhance students’ aesthetic ability and enrich their cultural literacy.However,the current teaching situation of Du Fu’s poetry is not optimistic,classroom teaching is still dominated by single reading teaching,there are also problems such as fixed teaching mode and single teaching method,which leads to students gradually losing interest in learning,treating poetry as a task they have to learn,unable to truly feel its cultural heritage and contextual connotation.As a new form of reading teaching,group reading can,to a certain extent,make up for the shortcomings of single reading teaching and provide new teaching ideas for poetry classrooms.Based on this,the author tries to apply group reading teaching to the teaching of Du Fu’s poetry in junior high school and actively explores the specific application of group reading in the teaching of Du Fu’s poetry.This paper discusses the following five parts:This paper actively explores the specific application of group reading in teaching Du Fu’s poetry,based on theoretical analysis and analysis of teaching practice,in the context of teaching Du Fu’s poetry in junior high school.This paper discusses the following five parts.The introductory section introduces the background of the study,the significance of the study,the current status of the study,and the research methodology.Chapter 1 focuses on the concepts and theoretical foundations of group reading.Group reading is a teaching activity in which students read a combination of texts as a whole under the guidance of teachers and around a core topic.The theories of textual interrelationship,constructivism,and knowledge transfer form the theoretical basis of group reading teaching.In teaching Du Fu’s poetry,the use of group reading helps to enhance students’ core language literacy,give full play to students’ main role in learning,and enrich the teaching mode of Du Fu’s poetry.Chapter 2 analyzes the current situation of teaching Du Fu’s poetry in the Unified Edition.The poems of Du Fu selected in the unified textbook are rich in genre and diverse in subject matter,and are important vehicles for promoting national spirit and cultivating students’ values.However,through the analysis of the questionnaire results and the teaching situation,we can find that there are still problems of modeling the teaching process,teacher-led classroom,and fragmented teaching contents.Chapter 3 presents the teaching design of group reading of Du Fu’s poems in the Unified Edition.Firstly,the topics are set around the four perspectives of Du Fu’s life experiences,poetic imagery,poetic themes and linguistic features;secondly,different poems are selected to form the texts according to the topics;then suitable group reading lesson types are constructed around the texts,such as citing one text,seeking similarities and differences,interpreting texts with texts,and integrated paths;finally,three key points for designing reasonable questions are elaborated: designing questions with a wide range of answers,asking questions about multiple texts at the same time,and designing main questions to highlight the focus.Finally,the three key points of designing reasonable questions are explained: designing questions with a wide range of answers,asking questions about multiple texts at the same time,and designing main questions to focus.Chapter 4 is a case study of teaching Du Fu’s poetry based on the research in the previous chapters.The case study is based on the previous chapters.By reading Du Fu’s poems at different times,students can appreciate his love for his country and his people,no matter where he was or what his position was.
