| In order to promote the healthy and stable development of professional football clubs in China,the Overall Plan for the Reform and Development of Chinese Football(hereinafter referred to as the Reform Plan)and the Medium and Long Term Development Plan for Chinese Football(2016-2050)both point out that the ownership structure of clubs should be optimized and diversified investment by enterprises,governments and individuals should be implemented.In addition,the government is encouraged to invest in venues and other tangible assets to promote the localization of clubs,improve the corporate governance structure of clubs,and establish a long-term club.Therefore,diversified reform of ownership structure is very necessary.First,the club’s decision-making,investment and operation management will be more rational.New investors will put forward requirements on the club,such as performance targets,management and control methods,profitability,etc.,which will force the club’s management team to improve its ability and level.The second is that the possibility of a backstop prevents the club from collapsing instantly,even if one shareholder fails.This paper mainly uses literature data method,questionnaire survey method,expert interview method and other methods.This paper studies and analyzes the status quo of ownership structure of professional football clubs in Jiangxi Province,explores the optimization path of ownership structure of professional football clubs in Jiangxi Province with the help of multiple reform visions and advanced experience.It is found that by the 2022 season,many clubs in the three-tier professional football league still have the typical characteristics of single ownership structure,single industry structure and low participation of state-owned enterprises.As a result,the club’s hematopoietic ability is poor,the income structure is single,the major shareholder of the club is dominant,and the development and operation of the club fully reflects the will of the parent company.Therefore,it leads to a series of problems,such as high ownership concentration,weak equity checks and balances,irregular internal governance structure,lack of effective internal supervision,and even difficult to achieve balance of payments,etc.,and so on.In this vicious circle,it is difficult to achieve sound development.Therefore,the optimization path of equity structure of professional football clubs in Jiangxi Province is designed from internal and external aspects.The internal mainly includes:(1)establishing a professional operation team to improve the level of club operation;(2)Strengthen financial supervision and establish financial audit system;(3)The Board of supervisors shall be established and the functions and powers shall be strengthened.At the same time,the incentive and restraint mechanism of club managers shall be improved,and the ownership and control of clubs shall be separated.External mainly includes:(1)promoting government departments,cultural and tourism departments and relevant state-owned enterprises to invest in the club and reduce tax;(2)Actively absorb foreign shares and explore the shareholding mode of fans;(3)Accelerate the development of professional football league.In fact,the most fundamental or core purpose of all the above optimization strategies is to improve the interaction between the local club and the local government,community,school and all sectors of society.Only when the club originates from the community,takes root in the community,serves the community and integrates into the local community closely,can the club attract more and more attention and develop better and better.Naturally,investors are willing to invest,and only with stable financial support can the development of the club be guaranteed,so as to form a virtuous circle and gradually realize the economic and social benefits of professional football clubs. |
