Positive emotions promote self-positive processing,and body satisfaction can be improved by using the evaluation conditioned reflex(EC)paradigm of repeated pairing of self and positive emotions.Negative physical self theory believes that individuals with negative physical self will automatically activate negative self-schema when processing self-related information(body size,weight),resulting in negative attention bias to self-related information.There are also studies that the difference between self and thin ideal will produce negative emotions.Negative emotions will hinder selfpositive processing,and the improvement effect of evaluation conditioned reflex on body satisfaction may be affected.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the self and emotional processing of negative physical self individuals to improve physical satisfaction.In this study,two studies and three experiments will be conducted to explore the self-processing advantages of female high school students with negative body by using related tasks,and to explore the influence of positive self on body satisfaction based on self-processing advantages.In study 1,female high school students with negative physical self were selected to test the advantage effect of self and emotion related information processing under the associative learning task.In experiment 1,the associative learning and face priming paradigm were used to explore the effect of self-related information on emotional processing under different associative tasks.The results showed that the horizontal elliptical self-association group(upward reference comparison)responded faster to positive emotional priming in friend judgment,while the vertical elliptical selfassociation group(downward reference comparison)responded faster to positive emotional priming in self-judgment.The study confirmed that self-comparison with fatter others,that is,downward comparison can hinder negative self-schema processing and appear positive emotional processing.In experiment 2,the associative learning and emotion priming paradigm were used to explore the influence of emotion-related information on self-processing under different associative tasks.The results showed that when the cues of the two learning association groups were consistent,the happy emotion priming responded significantly faster to self-face judgment than the sad emotion priming.The results showed that there was positive self-processing under positive emotion priming.Based on the advantage effect of self-positive processing in Study 1,Study 2 will further explore its influence on the body satisfaction of female high school students with negative body.Experiment 3 used positive self-normal body shape repeated pairing evaluation conditioned reflex to improve the body satisfaction of female high school students with negative body.The results showed that it had a positive impact on the self-reported body image of female high school students with negative body.Combined with the results of this study,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)The comparison between self and downward reference conditions will produce positive emotional processing advantages;(2)Positive self-processing is stable and not affected by the relevant information;(3)The evaluation conditioned reflex paradigm paired with positive emotions under the condition of self-downward reference can improve negative physical selfbody satisfaction.
