| The General High School Physics Curriculum Standards(revised in 2017-2020)(the "new standards")emphasize the development of students’ self-directed learning capacity in physics teaching.Learning motivation is a motivating factor that can effectively promote the cultivation of students’ independent learning ability and improve their academic performance.Motivation originates from students’ psychological needs for learning and is the driving force that makes students work toward certain learning goals.Therefore,in order to promote students’ independent learning in high school physics teaching,students must be motivated to learn,so that they have a lasting desire to learn spontaneously and actively internalize knowledge driven by positive and lasting motivation to learn,thus implementing the training requirements of the new curriculum.TARGET mode is a teaching mode proposed by Ames,a foreign educator,to effectively maintain and stimulate students’ learning motivation.This mode affects students’ learning behavior by improving students’ motivation structure,that is,enhancing internal motivation.The purpose of this study is to organically combine TARGET mode with physics teaching,and test the feasibility of applying TARGET mode to stimulate senior high school students’ physics learning motivation in senior high school physics class;Formulate and improve the teaching practice plan,enrich the middle school physics teaching cases applying TARGET mode,and provide reference for the application of TARGET mode;Based on practical research,this thesis puts forward teaching suggestions on the application of TARGET mode in middle school physics teaching,and enriches the theoretical basis of the application of TARGET mode in middle school physics teaching.This study uses the literature research method,uses the school library resources to collect thesis and monographs related to TARGET mode,and deeply understands the research status and theoretical background of TARGET mode.Using the method of questionnaire and interview,the thesis version of the adapted questionnaire was distributed to the sophomore students and the questionnaire subjects were randomly interviewed one-on-one to grasp the current situation of students’ physics learning so as to carry out teaching design according to the actual situation of students.Using the action research method,we set up experimental and comparison classes in the study,applied the instructional design to the experimental classes,and then used questionnaire data,interviews,and academic performance to test that applying the TARGET model in high school physics classrooms to guide students to master goal orientation can effectively motivate high school students to learn physics and increase their interest in learning physics.Finally,the research results were summarized and suggestions for the application of the TARGET model in high school physics were proposed.The conclusion of this study is as follows: From the analysis of the practical results,after applying TARGET model to physics teaching in senior high school,it is found that the students in the experimental class tend to master the goal orientation,and their internal motivation level has significantly improved.In high school physics teaching,it is effective to stimulate students’ learning motivation with TARGET teaching strategy,and its effect is not affected by individual gender differences.The teaching implementation strategy of TARGET mode can not only promote students to adopt mastery goal orientation,but also improve students’ physics academic performance. |
