At present,in the middle school student group,there is a general phenomenon of weariness in learning.Most students learn for the scores and the exams.There is no clear motivation for learning.Groups in the implementation of quality education,but teachers also faced with great challenges.Effectively stimulate the motivation of secondary school students,so that students can learn forwardly and creatively,the promotion of basic education is of great significance.Ames proposed a TARGET teaching model that stimulated classroom learning motivation based on the study of six family structures in the Epstein motivational system.This model includes six classroom structure elements: Task design,Authority distribution,Recognition practices,Grouping arrangements,Evaluation practices,Time allocation.This classroom model is more concerned about the student's learning process,emphasizing the ability of students to develop,rather than the results of simple exam results,conform to the quality of education on the ability of students.Reasonable adjustment of six kinds of classroom structure elements,creating a mastery of the target orientation of the classroom atmosphere,stimulating students' learning motivation,improving students' interest in learning.In this study,TARGET motivational model was used as the theoretical basis,and it was applied to junior middle school chemistry teaching.TARGET mode teaching strategy intervention experiment was conducted in the experimental class.During the teaching experiment,the students were interviewed and investigated of "Chemistry Learning motivation questionnaire in middle school students".According to the analysis of the interview results,the statistical analysis of the questionnaire survey results and the comparison of the students' academic performance,it is found that applying the TARGET model to the junior middle school chemistry teaching can obviously improve the students' learning motivation and improve the academic performance of the students.That also can formate students get the target learning atmosphere.It can be seen that the application of TARGET model in junior middle school chemistry teaching is effective,which can improve the interest of middleschool students,stimulate students' learning motivation and promote effective teaching.It is worth to be further promoted in junior middle school chemistry teaching.This paper is divided into six parts.The first chapter is the introduction,elaborated the research background,the research significance and the goal,the research thoughts and methods.The second chapter is the review of the literature,including the definition of the core concepts such as TARGET model,learning motivation and chemistry learning motivation,and expounds the research status of TARGET model and chemistry learning motivation.The third chapter is the theoretical basis of the study,expounded the TARGET model and learning motivation.Due to stimulate TARGET model and motivation combine effectively.The fourth chapter is the investigation and analysis of the status of junior middle school chemistry learning motivation,including the preparation of questionnaires,the survey results and explanations of the questionnaire,the process and conclusion of the interview.Finally,the classroom intervention strategy based on TARGET model is designed for the survey results and interviews.The fifth chapter is the practical research of TARGET model in chemistry teaching of middle school students.It mainly introduces the steps and processes of practical research,the specific teaching design and teaching intervention strategy of TARGET model,and makes a statistical analysis of the results of practice research.The sixth chapter is a summary and improvement of the recommendations,summed up the TARGET model applied to the teaching of chemistry in the conclusions and related teaching recommendations,and carried out research reflection and put forward the expectation in the future.
