Municipal primary and secondary schools are exemplary and leading high quality primary and secondary schools within prefecture-level cities.Compared with rural and county schools,they have better basic hardware conditions and higher quality of education and teaching.They are usually directly managed by prefecture-level education administrative departments.Since the Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and The State Council on Comprehensively Strengthening Labor Education in Universities,Primary and Secondary Schools in the New Era was issued in March 2020,researches on labor education have been increasing day by day,but mainly focus on labor education and related topics in different or multi-school classes,but there are few researches on the special school group of primary and secondary schools directly under the city.This study selected the labor education of primary and secondary schools directly under the city as the research object,investigated and understood the current situation of the development of labor education of primary and secondary schools directly under the city of F,analyzed the existing problems and reasons,and explored the optimization strategy.In this study,359 teachers,2926 students and 4198 parents in F City were selected as samples for investigation,supplemented by individual interviews,and SPSS tool was used for data analysis.The investigation and analysis show that the overall situation of labor education in primary and secondary schools directly in F City is satisfactory,but there are obvious problems and shortcomings.Some teachers,students and parents have different views on the same issue,indicating that different objects treat the implementation of school labor education recognition standards are different;Different schools pay different attention to labor education,and the differences in the development of labor education are obvious.The development of labor education in primary school is generally better than that in junior middle school.On the one hand,the concept of labor education is gradually deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.On the other hand,it reflects that some schools carry out labor education "the form is greater than the content",which only stays on the surface and slogan.To sum up,the current labor education of primary and secondary schools directly under F City mainly has the following three problems: cognitive deviation,unsatisfactory organization,and insufficient guarantee.These problems are caused by historical factors,social factors,government factors,school factors,family factors and other five factors,among which the government and school in the process of labor education has a crucial role.Then,the optimization strategy of municipal primary and secondary school labor education can be started from four aspects: first,the government should provide a solid guarantee for the implementation of labor education,strengthen the top-level design and scientific planning of labor education,build a high-quality labor education teacher team,strengthen supervision and assessment;Second,the society should guide the establishment of scientific labor values,create a strong social atmosphere of respect for labor,and establish a labor-based multi-talent evaluation system;Third,schools should play the role of the main front of labor education,improve the way of implementation of labor education,complete and strengthen the school labor education teachers,improve the labor education evaluation mechanism;Fourth,families should attach importance to the role of home-school linkage,change the concept of labor education,develop good working habits,smooth home-school contact,and form positive interaction and joint force between home and school.
