Educational punishment is a common and usual educational method in all ages.With the deepening promotion of quality-oriented education in recent years,some educational concepts have been around,such as “respect and appreciate students”,“put students first”,“appreciation education” etc.More and more people put forward criticism and query of educational punishment.Furthermore,some cases of unreasonable educational punishment spread quickly because of the rapid development of network media,which have negative effect on society and arise the attention of the public for the problem of “educational punishment”.Therefore,systems and regulations about educational punishment are constantly being amended and completed in domestic.In December 2020,Ministry of Education made and published“educational punishment rules of primary and secondary schools(trail)”(Hereinafter referred to as the “rules”).The stipulation of educational punishment was made as the form of departmental regulation in “rules” for the first time,where properties and range of application of educational punishment and rules,process,measures and requests of implement were systemically regulated.The nation has been officially giving the right of educational punishment for schools and teachers in the law level according to these.How to understand the right of educational punishment for schools and teachers in practical education? What kind of problems in practical implement? What are the difficulties? How to improve? These are problems tried to be investigated and researched in this paper.Based on the understanding and knowing of relevant policy documents of present educational punishment in this research,teachers,students and parents of a school with nine-year system in Z city are taken as research objects.The perception and understanding of educational punishment,implement basis of educational punishment in K-12 education,implement methods of educational punishment in K1-2 education,implement situation of educational punishment in K-12 education,implement effect of educational punishment in K-12 education and influence factors of the implement of educational punishment in K-12 education from various perspectives are investigated in these factors by taking methods of questionnaire method,interviewing method and observation method.It is found that there are some problems of educational punishment in K-12 education in Z city: teachers,parents and students are lack of reasonable perception for educational punishment,the standard of educational punishment is not clear,the methods of educational punishment are lack of scientific,the effect of educational punishment after implement is not ideal and teachers have many worries for the implement of educational punishment.Reasons leading to above problems are: the present regulations of educational punishment are needed to be perfected,management system of schools is needed to be perfected,personal quality of teachers are not coincident,comprehensive quality of students is needed to be improved,educational concepts of parents are needed to be improved and there is orientation deviation of public opinion.Based on above theoretical research and analysis,improvement opinions from six levels of law,school,teacher,student,parent and society are put forward in this research,expecting to improve implement status of educational punishment in K-12 education and promote the fine development of school education.
