At present,the reform of the new curriculum standard puts forward clear requirements for enriching the content of school physical education and creating the characteristics of physical education.The twenty report indicated that we ought to inherit and evolute the excellent traditional sports culture of China,to make country’s cultural soft power better,and boost the development of sports speedily.It is necessary to import preeminent traditional items on the basis of superiority local conditions,school conditions and students’ conditions.Throughout the history of the development of Chinese schools in the last hundred years,the teaching content of physical education has tended to be traditional,and the excellent sports of the Chinese nation has been less integrated.The State Council figured "Scratching Sheep Match" into the second batch of internal intangible Cultural Heritage directory in 2008.It is a mass sports event with national character,interest and appreciation,and is a relatively typical symbol of wrestling culture in the country.The guidance and guarantee of defending immaterial cultural heritage as well as the policies and regulations related to the reform of physical education curriculum have opened up a broad road for the development of "Scratching Sheep Race" course,which has positive significance for the inheritance of excellent traditional sports culture.This study takes Chengxin Middle School’s practice process of incorporating "Sheep scratching Competition" into the physical education school-based curriculum as the research object,and uses literature,expert interview,case investigation,questionnaire,field investigation,experiment and mathematical statistics.Through probing and analyzing on the process of introducing the sheep-scratching competition deeply in Chengxin Middle School,the current situation of course development,course achievements,reflection and improvement in the teaching process and other aspects,the conclusions are drawn as follows:(1)Integrating "Sheep scratching Competition" into the school-based curriculum of common middle school physical education has the advantage of simplicity and convenience.It is feasible and meaningful teaching practice to promote "sheep scratching competition" into the school-based curriculum of common middle school physical education."Scratching Sheep Competition" program has high educational value,profound cultural deposits,and a good mass foundation.(2)"Scratching sheep competition" teaching has a positive significance in boosting the height of students,but has no significant correlation with weight;The physical quality of students can be improved obviously before and after teaching.Compared with the traditional physical education curriculum,the improvement in flexibility,endurance,agility and strength is more significant,but the evolution of speed quality has no remarkable distinction;(3)The implementation of the school-based curriculum of "Scratching Sheep Competition" has optimized the structure of physical education curriculum and formed local school-running characteristics;Enhance the choice of students’ sports,improve the students’ sports participation;Set up cultural consciousness,enhance cultural confidence;Enable students to develop a strong body,keep full of energy,improve moral quality,establish the consciousness of rules;It improves students’ ability to adapt to society,expands the reserve talent team,and improves the enrollment rate of the school to some extent.(4)There are certain restrictive factors in the course development process,which are mainly reflected in: school-based teaching materials to be standardized,students’ cognitive level is insufficient,exercise motivation to be improved,teaching methods to be diversified,fewer professional teachers,few opportunities for training and learning,leadership attention to be strengthened,curriculum guarantee system is not perfect,modern teaching AIDS are relatively lacking,etc.(5)Dissecting the causes and proposing solutions as follows: to make the program targets completly and make the time of students’ sports sufficiently;meliorating the specialty literacy and the tstandard of teaching;Establish and improve the reward mechanism for teachers and students;Broaden the channels of diversified funding sources;Improve the government and school attention,establish family,school,social education network inheritance relationship;Increase publicity and expand the mass base of tickling sheep competition.
