A Comparative Study On The Setting Up Of The General Education Curriculum System Between Wuhan Institute Of Physical Education And Taiwan National Sports University

Realization of the general education curriculum objective of sports colleges and universities depends on the level of general education curriculum system setting to a large extent. By applying research methods including literature data method, comparison method and case study method, and setting the general education curriculum system of Wuhan Sports University and the general education curriculum system of Taiwan Sport University as the research objects, this article makes a comparative study on current situations about the general education curriculum objective, curriculum structure, curriculum content, curriculum imple mentation and curriculum assessment of two representative sports universities in the mainland and Taiwan, hoping to promote the development of general education in China's sports colleges and universities by discovering and implementing better experience.First, Wuhan sports college was the target of a curriculum for the improvement of knowledge to develop comprehensive quality, emphasizes the "knowledge,thinking and method", combine quality education and personality mold, emphasized on the target of a curriculum is a social and artificially; Taiwan's sport university emphasizes on general course goal setting, technique and mental health, outstanding professional talent training, has the talent training in the goal setting is a comprehensive and professional.Second, On the general education curriculum structure presents the structure characteristics of the diversification, Wuhan sports college general education course number than Taiwan's sports university, there are 139 courses, only 50 sports university course in Taiwan. Wuhan sports college general education curriculum structure of sports university is more simple than Taiwan; Wuhan sports institute of the general course of total is much lower than the proportion of the sports university in Taiwan.
