Foreign literature self-reading texts have rich cultural resources,and are guided by independent reading,which plays an important role in improving students’ core Chinese literacy ability.The "Chinese Language Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)" and the unified edition of Chinese language textbooks both set clear teaching objectives for foreign literature texts,requiring that while inheriting and promoting Chinese culture,students should also understand and learn from excellent world cultures,cultivate a broad and inclusive cultural perspective in cultural integration,and establish national cultural confidence.The research on foreign literature self-reading texts is based on teaching research under the premise of the Trinity.In the Trinity reading teaching structure,foreign literature self-reading texts connect foreign literature teaching texts with foreign literature extracurricular reading.Therefore,it plays a crucial role in cultivating students’ independent reading of foreign literature works.Teachers should comprehensively consider the cultural attributes of foreign literature and the characteristics of self-reading in the teaching process,in order to achieve the teaching value of foreign literature self-reading texts.The paper takes the unified edition of the middle school Chinese foreign literature self-reading text as the research object,and based on the requirements of the "Compulsory Education Chinese Curriculum Standards(2022 Edition)" and textbooks,summarizes the teaching experience of foreign literature self-reading text since 2016,reflects on the problems and shortcomings in teaching,and proposes teaching strategies on this basis.The main body of the paper consists of four chapters.The first chapter mainly clarifies the concepts and distinguishes between skimming and self reading texts,as well as teaching and self reading texts.Analyze the selection and arrangement of textbooks,and clarify the teaching value of foreign literature self reading texts in three aspects: spiritual culture,aesthetic ability,and self reading ability.The second chapter mainly investigates and analyzes the current teaching situation of the unified edition of foreign literature self reading texts in junior high school.From the survey results,it can be seen that the teaching of foreign literature self reading texts did not fully utilize textbook resources,and there was a lack of consistency in teaching,learning,and evaluation.The overall teaching effect did not match the expected goals.The reason for this is that in actual teaching,teachers do not attach enough importance to foreign literature self reading texts,nor do they truly inspire students to think actively.In addition,students lack interest in reading,resulting in the above teaching problems.In response to the above issues,the third chapter discusses the effective use of textbooks,the use of situational teaching methods,the exploration of resources in and out of class,and the improvement of teaching evaluation.It proposes strategies for the teaching of foreign literature self reading texts in junior high school.Chapter 4 applies the relevant teaching strategies proposed above to design the teaching of the text "On Creative Thinking",emphasizing the construction of a framework to achieve the transfer and application of knowledge.
