Since 1920s,foreign literary works has come into Chinese textbook in middle school for nearly 100 years.However there is still no complete localization in the soil of Chinese education.In recent ten years of education reformation,although we can discover the amounts and quality of foreign literature has increased rapidly,people consider there are still existing some concerns about its development trend in China.How to make foreign literary works be deeply rooted in our mind rather than a mere formality has been an important proposition of current Chinese teaching in middle school which need to be solved.The first chapter introduces the core problems and significance,which are based on arranging and analyzing relevant materials,sorting the teaching research literature of foreign literary works.The second chapter focuses on context analysis of foreign literature in Chinese textbooks in middle school.The text analysis mainly from the following aspects.Firstly it reviews its development history of selected foreign literary works,highlights the characteristics of the textbook selection work in 2003 edition and focuses on its characteristic of development.Secondly it sums up the reasons of select and compile status in foreign literary works in Chinese teaching material according to statistical analysis in select and compile foreign literary works in nowadays Chinese teaching materials in middle school.The third chapter mainly explains the degree of attention from students' exams and teachers'selection.Through empirical analysis,it further explores the reasons of why foreign literary works in secondary education do not really penetrated with people's mind from social phenomenon.The fourth chapter presents deeper teaching reflection,based on the works of Balzac as the reading teaching case of teaching,focuses on how to make people accept better,and plays the greatest role in foreign literary works in Chinese teaching in middle school.It attempts to make reading comes into the real class and students' inner heart from actual teaching operations.Nowadays,in twenty-first century,due to closer and closer relation between different countries,we need to follow the pace of the times and concentrate on details,broaden our horizons,comprehend foreign culture and learn multi-culture,which are helpful for us to cultivate our language ability and overall quality.
