Literary works in Chinese Textbooks of middle school in China has a history of over90years, including the introduction of foreign literary works not only contain different from the humanistic spirit of Chinese traditional culture, and is the important part of world culture resources. Even so, foreign literature has not been paid enough attention in Chinese language teaching in middle schools. But the promulgation of the new curriculum standards and the formation of a new idea of education, the school teachers and students come to realize the importance of it, many researchers begin to explore and analyze it, and through the theoretical research in this field and achieved certain results. This paper will do this on the basis of further discussion and research. This paper is divided into three parts. The first chapter first briefly review the selected school textbooks of foreign literature history, and by the people’s education curriculum standard experimental high school textbooks textbook as example, the analysis of foreign literary works in Chinese Textbooks in middle school from the text to defects existing in the arrangement, points out the existing problem and origin in classroom teaching; the second chapter combined with the new curriculum requirements, focusing on high school Chinese reading teaching foreign literature works, and puts forward the multiple perspective, comparative reading, text reading teaching strategy; the third chapter is based on the characteristics of foreign literature as the core, combined with the aesthetic characteristics of the corresponding teaching method.
