With social changes and changes in family structure,many primary school students lack care after class."Absence of parents" has become a common phenomenon.After-class counseling came into being.As an extension of school education and family education,it can make up for the time gap between primary school students and their parents’ return home after school,help them improve their academic performance,and provide them with a relatively safe environment free from adverse external influences,which plays an important role in society,schools,families and individuals.This paper takes Q Primary School in S City as the research object and adopts the questionnaire method to conduct a questionnaire survey.In terms of after-school tutoring,a total of 500 student questionnaires,200 parent questionnaires,150 teacher questionnaires,460 effective student questionnaires,180 parent questionnaires and 135 teacher questionnaires were distributed.In addition,this paper also uses the method of literature to sort out the research status of after-school counseling at home and abroad,understand the auxiliary function of after-school counseling in the classroom,and provide theoretical and practical basis for it.Through the questionnaire survey,it is found that there are also some problems in after-school counseling,such as the content of after-school counseling is simpler than that of after-school counseling,and the enthusiasm of after-school counseling participants is not high.This paper also makes the reason analysis and puts forward the corresponding suggestions.Improve the enthusiasm of participants by increasing the diversity of after-school counseling content and setting incentive measures.Give play to the role of after-school tutoring in improving classroom quality,consolidating and deepening classroom knowledge,and bring more exciting after-school life to students.
