With the vigorous development of preschool education and the kindergarten curriculum reform,the importance of children independent inquiry learning deepening,and reading area as an important branch of kindergarten large regional activities,is the large children’s autonomous learning,self exploration and reading ability to improve the important place.Therefore,it is of great significance to improve the study of the reading area activities of large classes in kindergarten.This study take observation method,interview method,case analysis to study the present situation of kindergarten reading activity,randomly selected Z city three kindergartens,and select six large classes as the research object,insight into the kindergarten large class reading activity status,and the problems existing in reading activity,put forward the corresponding Suggestions for improvement.It is found that the reading area of kindergarten large class has achieved some results in the environment creation.First,in the layout of the wall environment in the reading area,the wall created rich content,can play the children’s subjectivity,highlight the characteristics of the class;second,in the reading area,according to the research activities,highlighting the local characteristics,third,in the psychological environment of the reading area,the teacher-child relationship is harmonious,teachers can cooperate with children and respect the children’s main position.However,there are still some problems that need to be solved in the current situation of the reading area of the kindergarten.In terms of reading area environment creation: first,the reading area planning of some classes is unreasonable and the space area is insufficient;second,the delivery and management of materials in the reading area are unreasonable;third,the reading atmosphere is insufficient.In terms of activities in the reading area: first,the children plan is formal and single;second,the arrangement of the activity time in the reading area is not reasonable;third,the selection rate of the books in the reading area is not high;fourth,the teachers guide the effectiveness of the reading area;fifth,the rush and formalization of the evaluation and sharing link after activities in the reading area.In view of the problems existing in the current situation of the reading area of kindergarten,the researchers analyzed the reasons from teachers and kindergarten,and put forward corresponding suggestions for improvement.In terms of teachers,improve the scientific understanding of the environment creation of the reading area;improve the teachers ’ability to organize and implement the planning before activities;improve the time management and rationally use the reading area,improve the "quality" and "quantity" of reading;improve the effectiveness of teachers’ guidance on the reading area;and improve the implementation of the post-activity evaluation and sharing process.In kindergarten,increase the attention to the reading area and enhance the understanding of the reading area;increase the investment to provide material guarantee for the reading area;increase the training and discussion of the activities of the reading area;and improve the management system of the reading area.
