| With the popularization of educational informatization, information technology and teaching continue to integrate.TPACK(Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge)is an important theoretical basis for the effective integration of mathematics teaching and information technology. As one of the teaching modules of primary school mathematics,"Statistics and Probability" undertakes the main task of cultivating students’ awareness of data.Especially in today’s era of big data,it is essential for modern citizens to learn to collect, organize, analyze and infer complicated data, discover the nature of data, obtain valuable information, and then make decisions. However,as the teaching content of "Statistics and Probability" accounts for a relatively small proportion in primary school, some teachers do not pay enough attention to it and their TPACK ability is insufficient,so the teaching of this module has not yet met the requirements of cultivating students’ corresponding core literacy. The research on the current teaching situation of primary school mathematics "statistics and probability" based on TPACK provides a new way to solve the problems existing in current teaching. This research firstly combs the research background and expounds the research significance.By means of literature research, this paper summarizes the current research results of TPACK at home and abroad, the research status of "Statistics and Probability" in primary school mathematics, and the teaching requirements of primary school "Statistics and Probability" in Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education. With reference to the existing research, the Questionnaire on the Current Teaching Situation of "Statistics and Probability" in Primary School Mathematics based on TPACK was compiled and used to investigate the teaching situation of 149 primary school mathematics teachers. The method of interviews was used to conduct in-depth interviews with 8 front-line teachers on the teaching understanding of "Statistics and Probability" in primary schools based on TPACK.In addition, the research also analyzes the classroom record of the fifth grade "Possibility" by observation.Through the above investigation and analysis,it is found that there are still some problems in the teaching of mathematics "Statistics and Probability" in primary schools: From technology knowledge aspect, the integration of information technology and teaching is a mere formality;Lack of professional use of subject technology. From pedagogical knowledge aspect, the teaching mode is relatively simple;Teaching evaluation is too general. From the content knowledge aspect, the knowledge reserve of statistics and probability is insufficient.Insufficient teaching knowledge of statistics and probability. From the integrated knowledge aspect, the importance of integrating technology into teaching is not enough; The integrated knowledge of content, pedagogical and technology is not in place.According to the existing deficiencies in the teaching of "statistics and probability",the causes are analyzed. Finally,in view of the existing problems, the corresponding teaching improvement strategies are proposed based on the analysis of TPACK elements in the module of "Statistics and Probability".Technology knowledge: make use of information technology to create dynamic classroom form;actively learn technical knowledge and enhance information education literacy.Pedagogical knowledge: create diversified activities to develop students’ statistical thinking;optimize the teaching evaluation method and based on the process experience of students.Content knowledge: mining the content of teaching materials and closely related to the knowledge of statistics and probability;respect students’ original expression and cultivate students’ rational critical spirit.Integration knowledge level: clear integration of technical requirements and improve the initiative to learn TPACK;set up targeted courses and strengthen the integration ability training. |
