A Study On The Transformation And Restructuring Of Women Labor Roles In Community Factories

Community factories are an important measure made by the state for sustainable rural development during the period of poverty alleviation,which not only has obvious poverty reduction effects,but also plays a key role in helping rural revitalization and development.However,community factories highlight the gendered characteristics of female labor at the specific practical operation level,and this gender preference brings new challenges to women’s labor role transfer and labor restructure.Taking the changes in women’s production and living environment before and after the community factory enters the village as a clue,this paper focuses on the transformation of women’s labor roles and labor structure in community factories,mainly takes community factories and their female workers as the research objects,adopts literature research method and semi-structured interview method to discuss the changes of women’s role structure,labor structure and living space structure in community factories,and collects data through case study method and interview method to analyze the occurrence and development of community factories,the current situation of female workers’ production and living space,The development dilemma of community factories and women is discussed in detail,and the development dilemma of community factories and women is analyzed based on the new status quo of current rural developmentIt is found that: first,due to the characteristics of flexible employment forms,close employment distance,low labor threshold,and intensive labor,community factories have significant spillover effects on women’s rebuilding economic space,making up for political space,and expanding living space.Second,from the perspective of women’s responsibilities,with the development and improvement of community factories,more and more women’s roles have changed from "motherhood" to "part-time workers",in the dimension of time and space,women have gradually expanded from the "private sphere" of the family to the "public sphere" of community governance,and from the perspective of value,the value of women’s labor has gradually changed from "unpaid labor" to "paid labor";Third,women’s entry into community factories not only achieves nearby employment,but also changes the content of women’s labor based on agricultural labor and domestic work.Migrant workers enrich women’s labor structure in the nature of labor,and women also expand the breadth and depth of their individual labor by participating in the market economy,participating in and discussing politics,and community governance.Fourth,this form of employment also brings problems such as the dual physical and temporal oppression of "motherhood" and "part-time workers" to women employed in community factories,the lack of job welfare protection,and the structural development dilemma between the low-level industrial structure and women’s empowerment development.With the adjustment of some support policies and even the reduction of funds during the period of convergence between poverty alleviation and rural revitalization,the operation and development of some community factories have encountered difficulties,making them have potential crises in promoting women’s development and helping rural revitalization.Based on the above problems,this paper discusses the transformation and development of community factories in the new era,the long-term empowerment of women and the path of building an equal gender order from the perspectives of improving the public service system,improving women’s scientific and technological literacy,enhancing women’s awareness of self-development,promoting the socialization of housework,and promoting the transformation and upgrading of industrial structure.Compared with previous studies,this paper systematically analyzes the employment,labor role transformation and labor re-structuring of women in community factories,systematically sorts out the development characteristics and dilemmas of community factories,and puts forward the transformation path of community factories in a targeted manner,so as to provide reference for effectively linking and expanding the achievements of poverty alleviation and rural revitalization.
