Research On The Role Of Ideological And Political Education Of College Student Associations

At the time of its establishment,the Communist Youth League deeply integrated the leadership of the Party into the blood.As an integral part of the two wings of the Communist Youth League,student associations should also adhere to the correct political direction and actively play a leading role in ideological and political work.The modern development of the country needs comprehensive quality talents with all-round development of morality,intelligence,physique,beauty and labor.The various types of college student associations are not only a practical platform to promote the all-round development of college students,but also an important position to strengthen the ideological and political education in colleges and universities.Through the empirical research on the student associations of Northwest A & F University,this study clarifies the current situation of the construction and development of student associations,grasps the role of student associations in ideological and political education in universities,clarifies the shortcomings and reasons of student associations in playing the role of ideological and political education,and puts forward the corresponding improvement path.The thesis is divided into four parts.The first part is the basis of theoretical research.Based on Marx ’s theory of all-round development and ideological and political education,this study summarizes the role of student associations in promoting students ’ ideals and beliefs,patriotism,moral rule of law and comprehensive quality education.The second part constructs the theoretical model of investigation and research based on the theoretical basis of the first part,and divides the evaluation of student associations into four aspects : team consciousness,functional division,development prospect and community influence,so as to comprehensively investigate the construction and development of student associations in Northwest A & F University.The role of ideological and political education of college student associations are divided into four dimensions : ideal and belief,patriotism,moral rule of law and comprehensive quality.Through correlation analysis,it is found that there is a significant positive correlation between the evaluation of college student associations and the effect of ideological and political education.Through further analysis of the questionnaire and interviews,it is found that there are still some deficiencies in the coverage,effectiveness and continuity of ideological and political education in student associations.The third part of the paper analyzes the reasons for the problems of the associations.It is believed that the students ’ associations have insufficient ability to utilize the policies and resources of colleges and universities,and the association federation has not played its due role in organization and coordination.The fourth part of the paper puts forward the improvement path from the four levels of universities,society,instructors and associations themselves.At the university level,we should do a good job in top-level design and overall arrangement,strengthen the training of community cadres,improve the level of new media platform construction,and strengthen the ideological and political efficiency of community education.At the social level,by expanding communication channels,students ’associations are promoted to connect with multiple platforms.By strengthening the cooperation between schools and local governments,we can promote the service of student associations to local development and enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education in the social practice of student associations.At the instructor level,by strengthening the guidance of student associations,the direction of the development of student associations is well guided.By strengthening the construction of the temporary Party branch,we will promote the institutionalization and normalization of the study of community political theory and improve the ideological and political quality of community members.Broaden the social practice platform of student associations by fully tapping social education resources.Through the cultivation of student community culture,create a good atmosphere of ideological and political education.At the community level,community members should perform their duties.The head of the association plays a good leading role.The backbone of the community leads by example and plays a leading role.Ordinary members play a subjective initiative to be responsible for the work of student associations.The student associations as a whole jointly stimulate the vitality of ideological and political education.
