Since the "double reduction" policy was promulgated in July 2021,domestic compulsory education schools have introduced after-school service measures accordingly.As an important part of after-school services,after-school sports service is an effective way to cultivate students’ interest in sports,stimulate students’ sports potential and implement the national strategy of "Healthy China".Due to the short implementation time of the "double reduction" policy,empirical studies on the implementation of intramural and after-school sports services under the background of "double reduction" are scarce.Through field research on the status quo of after-school sports services of some junior middle schools in Jingyue District,Changchun City,this paper explores the problems existing in after-school sports services,in order to provide theoretical basis and reference for the smooth implementation of the "double reduction" policy and the high-quality development of after-school sports services in schools.Based on the above background,this paper combines quantitative research and qualitative research,and further explores the development status and existing problems of after-school sports services in Changchun through questionnaire survey method,interview method,mathematical analysis method and other research methods,taking the after-school sports services carried out by some junior high schools in Jingyue District of Changchun City as the research objects,and the parents of 5 junior high schools and the teachers and students of 3junior high schools as the survey objects,so as to further explore the development status and existing problems of after-school sports services in Changchun,in order to promote the quality and efficiency of after-school sports services in Changchun.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)The boundaries of rights,responsibilities and interests of all parties are not clearly divided,resulting in insecure funding and low motivation of teachers’ participation.(2)The alienation of evaluation concepts causes parents to be anxious,which is manifested in serious test-taking concepts,different parents’ demands,and lack of communication between home and school.(3)The nursing function is surplus and the developmental function is insufficient,which is mainly manifested in imperfect teaching facilities,less innovative content and low coverage of extended courses.(4)The lack of "quantity" and "quality" of teachers is mainly manifested in the shortage of teachers in school and the imperfect qualifications of teachers outside the school,(5)The supervision mechanism of after-school sports services in schools has not been perfected,and the responsible subject has not been clarified.The following suggestions are put forward:(1)strengthen the top-level design and improve the service plan;Fully release the educational function of after-school sports services.(2)Introduce external resources to explore new paths for diversification;Form synergies to promote equity in education.(3)Improve the faculty and integrate various service resources;Cooperate with colleges and universities to improve the level of teachers.(4)Reduce work burden and enhance service enthusiasm;In this way,the pressure on teachers is reduced and the rights and interests of teachers are protected.(5)Construct an innovative evaluation system for evaluation standards;Promote the balanced development of after-school sports services.
