At present,Chinese economy has entered a stage of high-quality development.Promoting entrepreneurship is of great significance to explore new momentum for economic growth.Many private enterprises generated by entrepreneurial activities can contribute to upgrading the national economic structure.Meanwhile,entrepreneurship can expand employment,alleviate employment conflicts and improve people’s livelihood and well-being.To solve the issue of economy and employment,China has permanently attached great importance to the entrepreneurial activities of university students.China has emphasized that college students are the new force of entrepreneurship,and these students are encouraged to be involved in the entrepreneurial practice.Nevertheless,the proportion of Chinese college students engaged in self-employment has not steadily increased.The number of college graduates has kept growing for years,which means that the imbalance between employment supply and demand has become more serious.To enhance college students’ entrepreneurial rate,it is necessary to enhance their entrepreneurial intentions.Research has exhibited that entrepreneurial learning is a critical antecedent of entrepreneurial intentions.Recognizing the importance of entrepreneurial learning,colleges and universities are vigorously developing entrepreneurship education for college students.From the perspective of entrepreneurial learning,it is of great significance to explore its mechanism on entrepreneurial intentions.Then the entrepreneurial rate will be raised among university students,and the entrepreneurial education system will be reformed in colleges and universities.Therefore,this paper provides an in-depth discussion of the relationship between entrepreneurial learning and entrepreneurial intentions based on social cognitive career theory.The research aimed to understand two questions:(1)how entrepreneurial learning affects entrepreneurial intentions;(2)whether the internal path of entrepreneurial learning and entrepreneurial intentions is affected by environmental factors or not.To this end,a theoretical model was established by entrepreneurial self-efficacy,entrepreneurial resilience,environmental munificence,entrepreneurial learning and entrepreneurial intentions.This study selected 438 college students as the sample,followed by the in-depth investigation utilizing literature research,questionnaire survey and statistical analysis.Using spss26.0,Mplus7.4 and Amos21.0 for reliability and validity test,correlation analysis and regression analysis,the empirical results exhibited that:(1)entrepreneurial learning exerts a positive effect on entrepreneurial intentions;(2)entrepreneurial selfefficacy partially mediates the relationship between entrepreneurial learning and entrepreneurial intentions;(3)entrepreneurial resilience partially mediates the relationship between entrepreneurial learning and entrepreneurial intentions;(4)environmental munificence moderates the effect of entrepreneurial self-efficacy on entrepreneurial intentions;(5)environmental munificence moderates the effect of entrepreneurial resilience on entrepreneurial intentions.In general,this study,based on social cognitive career theory,reveals the detailed pathway of how entrepreneurial learning impacts entrepreneurial intentions.On the one hand,the research results extend the investigation on how entrepreneurial learning plays a critical role in the generation of entrepreneurial intentions,deepen the understanding of the mediating mechanism of entrepreneurial learning affecting entrepreneurial intentions,and expand the examination on the boundary conditions of entrepreneurial learning and entrepreneurial intentions.On the other hand,it provides practical inspiration for college students,colleges and universities and governments.To improve the entrepreneurial intentions of university students,it is proposed that college students should enhance their entrepreneurial learning awareness,colleges and universities should improve entrepreneurial education platforms,and policymakers should create a supportive entrepreneurial environment.
