In the Education Modernization 2035 issued by the CPC Central Committee and The State Council in 2019,"We will develop quality-oriented education and promote the all-round development of students.Comprehensively improve students’ will quality,thinking ability,cooperation ability,innovation ability and other comprehensive qualities,improve the level of physical and mental development,and cultivate new people to take on the great task of national rejuvenation.This future-oriented talent strategy conforms to the development trend of global education,and its requirements and contents also indicate the importance and urgency of cultivating well-rounded talents.The teaching mode of TPSR(Teaching Personal and Social Responsibility,short for TPSR)innovates the existing physical education teaching methods and focuses on promoting the all-round development of students.This study deeply analyzes the application of TPSR teaching model in school physical education,and designs a teaching model suitable for primary and middle school students’ physical education classroom,aiming at promoting the two-way development of students’ social emotional ability and physical quality through physical education,and providing theoretical basis and practical experience for the application of TPSR teaching model in future physical education classroom.In this study,literature,questionnaire,experiment and other research methods were used to explore the influence of TPSR teaching model on students’ social emotional ability and physical quality in physical education classroom.It includes students’ self-awareness,self-management,social awareness,interpersonal skills,responsible decision-making and physical quality.The students from two classes of Grade 4 in Shanghai Mingqiang Primary School were selected as the experimental subjects,including 45 students(male 25,female 20)in the experimental class and 45students(male 21,female 24)in the control class.The experimental class adopts the TPSR teaching mode,while the control class adopts the traditional teaching mode.Before the experiment,the students’ social emotional ability and physical fitness were tested respectively,and the test results were not significantly different.After the experiment,the collected data will be analyzed to explore the influence of TPSR teaching mode on students’ social emotional ability and physical quality.By comparing the data of the experimental class and the control class,the following results can be obtained:(1)After the experiment,there was a significant difference in the social emotional ability between the experimental group and the control group(P<0.01),there was no significant difference in the social emotional ability between the experimental group and the control group of boys(P>0.05),there was a significant difference in the social emotional ability between the experimental group and the control group of girls(P<0.05).(2)There was no significant difference in the dimensions of self-consciousness,self-management and social consciousness between the experimental group and the control group after the experiment(P>0.05).There were significant differences in self-awareness(P<0.05),self-awareness(P<0.05)and social awareness(P<0.05)in the experimental group before and after the experiment.(3)There were significant differences in interpersonal skills(P<0.05)and responsible decision-making ability(P<0.05)between the experimental group and the control group after the experiment.(4)In terms of physical fitness,there were no significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in one-minute sit-up(P>0.05),50-meter running(P>0.05),and seated forward bending(P>0.05).There were significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in one-minute skipping(P<0.05)after the experiment.(5)In the one-minute sit-up project,there were significant differences between the experimental group and the experimental group in one minute sit-up(P<0.01),the boys in the experimental group in one minute sit-up(P<0.01),and the girls in the experimental group in one minute sit-up(P<0.05).There were significant differences in one-minute rope skipping in all groups(P<0.01).Before and after the experiment,there was no significant difference between the experimental groups in 50 m running and seated flexion(P<0.05).Research conclusion:(1)Physical education class based on TPSR teaching model has a significant effect on the improvement of students’ social emotional ability,which provides a new way for students to develop social emotional ability in physical education classroom.(2)The physical education class based on the TPSR teaching model has a great promoting effect on the improvement of students’ self-awareness and social awareness,and shows the gender difference in self-awareness and social awareness.However,there is no significant difference between students’ self-management and traditional teaching mode.(3)The physical education classroom based on the TPSR teaching model has better teaching effect on the cultivation of students’ interpersonal skills and responsible decision-making ability,which helps students to apply these skills in real life.(4)Physical education class based on TPSR teaching model can promote the improvement of students’ physical quality.According to the pre and post test results of each group in the experimental group,there was a significant difference between one-minute sit-up and one-minute jump rope.The50-meter run and the seated forward bend are not that different from the traditional teaching model.(5)In this experiment,TPSR teaching model achieved good teaching effect in the fourth grade physical education and health curriculum,indicating that this model has practical value and significance in the primary school physical education and health curriculum.
