| As an emerging sport,esports keeps increasing,attention keeps rising,and the audience of esports keeps increasing.Meanwhile,national and social recognition keeps improving,the market size becomes immeasurable,and the development of esports industry tends to be commercialized and diversified.However,it still lags behind traditional sports events in terms of ecological construction,commercial cooperation and sustainable development.At present,researches on e-sports mainly focus on the development,current situation and future trend of e-sports,commercialization of e-sports industry,brand construction,etc.,while researches on the communication effect of e-sports events are few.Therefore,this paper chooses the current domestic most popular e-sports event LPL Professional League of Legends as the research object.This paper discusses the communication effect of LPL League in current society,summarizes the existing problems of Chinese e-sports events communication,draws conclusions,and finally provides corresponding suggestions for Chinese e-sports events communication.In structure,this paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which introduces the research background,research purpose and research significance.The second part summarizes relevant research,which is divided into the research and summary of Chinese e-sports,e-sports industry,e-sports events communication and the communication effects of e-sports events,and combing the development history of Chinese League of Legends Professional League(LPL).The third part introduces the research object and research methods of this paper,including literature,in-depth interview,questionnaire and mathematical statistics.The fourth part is the core part of this paper.It analyzes the communication effect of LPL League by using questionnaire data,discusses the audience’s understanding of LPL League,and analyzes the audience’s cognition,emotion and behavior.And through the four aspects of communication subject,communication content,communication channel and audience differences,the influence factors of LPL league’s communication effect are sorted out.It is concluded that these four parts are closely related to the communication effect,and all have an impact on the communication effect.At the same time,by comparing the communication status of Korean competition zone(LCK)and European competition zone(LCS,LEC),the similarities and differences between Chinese and foreign communication are summarized.Finally,summarize the existing problems in the communication effect of e-sports events: the lack of innovation and local culture;Competition competitiveness decreased,the lack of coordination between competition organizations;Poor communication environment,lack of supervision and management;Audience cognition deviation,inherent ideas lead to low recognition.The fifth part is the conclusion and suggestions of this paper.Based on the above research,we summarize the following conclusions: First,we need to pay attention to our own culture;Secondly,the communication effect of LPL league has different influences on the audience’s cognition,emotion and behavior.Thirdly,there are various factors affecting the communication effect of LPL League.Fourth,new media technology is needed to improve the communication effect of E-sports events in our country.Fifth,interactivity becomes the mainstream of e-sports events in the future.Finally,the following suggestions are put forward to improve the communication effect of e-sports events: enriching the content of e-sports events and building local sports brands;Innovate the media to improve the audience’s experience;Multi-party cooperation to create a healthy environment for e-sports events;Strengthen guidance and attach importance to the correct value education of e-sports. |
