In 2022,History Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)came out after a new round of revision.Based on the new changes and new requirements of the new era,the new curriculum standards clearly regard the cultivation of students’ core accomplishment of history as the value goal of history curriculum in compulsory education.Therefore,in the current situation where the new curriculum standards continue to be implemented,how to effectively implement the core accomplishment of history discipline in teaching has become a top priority for middle school history teachers.The development of students’ core accomplishment depends on classroom teaching activities,a good teaching design can help teachers carry out teaching activities with purpose and plan,which is conducive to improving teaching quality and promoting students’ learning.Based on this,in accordance with the requirements of History Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022Edition),this paper studies the teaching design of the history course "Westernization Movement" of 2017 Unified version first volume of history textbook for eighth graders,aiming to reference for middle school history teachers.Firstly,this paper explores the similarities and differences between the 2006 PEP version and 2017 Unified version first volume of history textbook for eighth graders on the "Westernization Movement" from the aspects of text compilation and auxiliary parts,and finds out the problems,which makes preparation for the teaching design of this course by the author of this paper.Secondly,three excellent teaching design cases of Westernization Movement are selected for comparison and analysis to comprehensively investigate how they integrate the cultivation of students’ core quality of history into teaching design and the author of this paper will learn from the experience of others.Thirdly,from the perspective of the core accomplishment of history discipline,the teaching design of "Westernization Movement" is carried out independently by the author.Finally,combined with the summary and exploration of the above three parts,this paper puts forward some thoughts and suggestions on the teaching design based on the core accomplishment of history discipline.
