The academic pressure of urban migrant children cannot be ignored.Their body and mind are in the process of continuous development.In the face of heavy homework burden,high expectations of parents,high scores pursued by teachers,etc.,due to their own personality characteristics and limited resources,it is inevitable that they will have great pressure on their studies.If the pressure is not resolved in time,it will endanger their physical and mental health.This study takes 17 urban migrant children in grade 6 of G primary school as the research object.Through the previous investigation and interview,it was found that the sixth grade urban migrant children had academic pressure,and the relevant data were collected by observation,interview and questionnaire.The study found that their stress levels in the two dimensions of tension and sense of loss measured by the stress scale were on the high side,indicating that their academic pressure was high.In order to relieve their academic pressure,the author used the school social work intervention,under the guidance of Lazarus stress theory and social support theory,combined with the internal and external causes of the service object,and focused on group work,and carried out eight group activities.Parallel connection with family and school resources to strengthen their school and family social support network.The service effect is evaluated by using result evaluation and process evaluation.The post-test results of the academic stress scale show that the overall academic stress level of the service object has improved and the overall academic stress level has decreased.It can be seen that the use of school social work to alleviate the academic pressure of urban migrant children in grade six has a significant effect.Finally,the author summarized and reflected on the development of service activities,and put forward suggestions on the rational use of the three major methods of social work,the purchase of school social work services into schools,policy advocacy and implementation,to provide ideas for subsequent relevant researchers to effectively relieve academic pressure.
