With the promulgation of the Information Technology Curriculum Standard(2017Revision 2020)for the general high schools,more and more emphasis has been placed on the cultivation of creative talents in China.The high school information technology curriculum began to move from "information technology awareness " to education aimed at developing students ’ " core competency in the subject." Especially with the advent of the digital age,the development of computational thinking is in line with the country’s need to train innovative talents,and is an important way of thinking in problem-solving and innovative works.Therefore,we should focus on cultivating learners’ computational thinking.Textbooks are also gradually replacing other programming languages with Python languages,moving from a focus on grammar to problem-solving to foster computational thinking in high school students,as required by the Information Technology Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High Schools(2017Revision).Through the literature search,it is found that there are still some problems in high school programming teaching.First,the teaching objectives have not been fully realized,and teachers do not pay enough attention to the cultivation of students’ thinking and creative ability.Secondly,the lack of teaching mode restricts the creative development of students.Third,the teaching evaluation lacks many dimensions,the student cannot get the timely feedback."5E" is to "explore" as the main line,"problem-oriented" teaching mode,focusing on process and performance evaluation,in line with the requirements of the new era of cultivation.From above,this research tries to integrate the 5E teaching mode into the programming of high school information technology.The specific research contents and conclusions of this thesis are as follows:(1)Design of teaching process based on 5E teaching mode.This study combed the present situation of 5E teaching mode and programming teaching at home and abroad by means of literature research.The theory of activity theory,flow experience theory and feedback intervention theory were used as theoretical support.On the basis of the compatibility of 5E teaching mode and "programming computing" unit,the enlightenment of 5E teaching mode,design principles and elements,this paper designs a teaching process based on 5E teaching mode by taking the "programming computing" unit of information technology compulsory 1 in science and education version of high school as an example.(2)Implementation of teaching activities based on the 5E teaching model.In this study,81 people were taught in one or two classes in M middle school in J province by means of quasi-experimental research.Before teaching,the teacher should specify the purpose,hypothesis,variables,plan,etc..Secondly,we should do a good job of preparing the test before the experiment to ensure the smooth implementation of the teaching process.By using the designed process of teaching activities to create specific cases,including curriculum analysis,textbook analysis,learning situation analysis,teaching objectives,teaching process and teaching reflection.Four concrete teaching cases in the "Programming Computing" module are used to embody the whole teaching implementation process.(3)Validation of the effectiveness of teaching activities based on the 5E teaching model.After the implementation of teaching,through the data analysis of student works evaluation,student interviews,before and after measurement of computational thinking,it is found that the teaching process based on 5E teaching mode can improve students’ mastery of programming knowledge and effectively promote students’ computational thinking ability.
