The "Biology Curriculum Standards for General High Schools(2017 Edition and 2020 Revision)" emphasizes that learning is the process of actively constructing knowledge,developing ability,and generating core literacy in biology.The curriculum standards advocate inquiry learning and strive to promote the continuous improvement of students ’ learning methods.This requires teachers to constantly update their own teaching concepts,actively explore and try to apply new teaching models that are conducive to promoting students ’ learning and development.However,in the teaching practice,it is found that the current high school biology classroom teaching model is single,students showed insufficient interest and learning ability in biology learning and the implementation of the core literacy of biology.The experiential teaching model emphasizes the main position of students ’ learning,pays attention to the cultivation of students ’ learning ability and the exertion of subjective initiative,and meets the requirements of the curriculum standards for the cultivation of the core literacy of biology.Based on the theory of ’ experiential learning circle ’ and constructivist learning theory,this study reviewed and combed the literature related to experiential teaching model,and clarified the relevant concepts.Through questionnaires and interviews,we understood the current status of high school biology teaching,analyzed the shortcomings,the application status and existing problems of experiential teaching model in high school biology teaching,combined with theoretical analysis and current situation investigation,this thesis tries to construct the application strategy of experiential teaching model in high school biology teaching,including application principle,application process and application strategy.Based on the strategies proposed above,the teaching content is based on some chapters of the "Molecule and Cell" module in the People ’ s Education Press,we have conducted teaching practice on the application of experiential teaching model in high school biology teaching.Through questionnaire surveys,classroom observations and interviews,the practical effect was evaluated.It was found that the application of experiential teaching model in high school biology teaching can stimulate students ’ interest in biology learning,improve students ’ comprehensive learning ability,and implement the cultivation of students’ core literacy in biology and improve the professional level development of teachers to a certain extent.This study aims to provide a reference for front-line teachers to apply experiential teaching model and rich teaching methods in teaching by combining experiential teaching model with high school biology teaching.
