A healthy body is the guarantee of efficient learning for junior high school students,and as an important reserve force of the country,the physical quality of junior high school students should be highly valued.In the face of the declining trend of junior high school students’ physical quality and the dilemma and dilemma of students’ physical health,the effective means of reshaping cognition,establishing beliefs and guiding behaviors with the help of knowledge,faith and action health education can better improve students’ physical health and physical quality.In order to effectively explore the relationship between the elements related to physical exercise and the physical quality of students at the junior high school level,the current situation will be described and the relationship will be explored by understanding the current situation of students’ knowledge,attitude and behavior of physical exercise and their physical quality as the entry point,so as to improve students’ physical quality as the breakthrough point to find the way to improve students’ physical health and finally achieve the purpose of improving physical quality.This study takes the "knowledge,belief and action theory" as the basic framework,designs the "Linxia state junior high school students’ knowledge,belief and action questionnaire of physical exercise",understands the current situation of students’ knowledge,attitude and behavior of physical exercise through the questionnaire survey,uses the test method,based on the indexes and test methods of physical quality test in the "National Student Physical Fitness Test Standard",and conducts physical quality test on the sample junior high school students in Linxia state.The physical quality test was conducted on the sample junior high school students in Linxia state to understand the physical quality status of junior high school students in Linxia state,and the mathematical and statistical method was applied,and the data obtained were analyzed by descriptive statistics,independent samples t-test,one-way ANOVA,multiple regression analysis and other methods for data processing.To explore the relationship between knowledge,belief,and physical quality of junior middle school students in Linxia Prefecture,and finally the following conclusions were obtained.(1)The knowledge and attitude of physical exercise among junior high school students in Linxia Prefecture are at an intermediate level,their physical exercise behavior is poor,and most of them have a small amount of physical exercise.The overall physical exercise knowledge,beliefs and behaviors of male students are higher than those of female students,and there are significant differences in the physical exercise knowledge,beliefs and behaviors of junior high school students from different birthplaces,grades and ethnic groups,and the phenomenon of "knowing but not doing" and "doing but not knowing" exists among junior high school students from different ethnic groups.In a comprehensive view,there is a positive relationship between the knowledge,attitude and behavior of physical exercise among junior high school students in Linxia Prefecture,and the knowledge of physical exercise can significantly predict the attitude of physical exercise,while the attitude and behavior of physical exercise can jointly predict the behavior of physical exercise,and the knowledge,belief and behavior of physical exercise among junior high school students in Linxia Prefecture are consistent with the "knowledge,belief and behavior" theory.The model of physical activity knowledge and belief behavior of Linxia junior high school students is consistent with the "knowledge and belief behavior" theory.(2)The physical quality of middle school students in Linxia Prefecture has a low excellent rate and a high unqualified rate,while the physical quality of boys is generally in the good grade and that of girls is generally in the passing grade.The standing long jump and pull-up scores of boys from rural areas were better than those of boys from urban areas,and the 50 m scores of girls from urban areas were better than those of girls from rural areas.The physical quality of junior high school students in different grades had significant differences,and all indicators of physical quality in junior high school grades were better than those in junior high school grades 2 and 1.50 m,800m for girls and standing long jump for girls of both sexes had significant differences among different ethnic groups.(3)Middle school students with high knowledge of physical exercise,positive attitude toward physical exercise and high exercise volume had better physical quality than those with low knowledge of physical exercise,negative attitude toward physical exercise and low exercise volume.There is a linear correlation between the knowledge,attitude and behavior of physical exercise and physical quality of junior high school students in Linxia Prefecture,that is,the higher the scores of knowledge,attitude and behavior of physical exercise,the better the scores of physical quality indexes.Moreover,the scores of physical exercise knowledge,attitude and behavior had a significant predictive effect on the total physical quality scores,i.e.,the level of physical exercise knowledge and beliefs and behaviors of Linxia state junior high school students could positively influence physical quality.
