The physical health of college students is not only related to the future of the country and the nation, but also related to the happiness of hundreds of millions of families.According to the results of the eighth National Student physical and health survey in 2019,the problem of declining physical health of College students in China still needs to be solved. Therefore, this study took the physical fitness test scores of college students as the independent variable, exercise motivation as the intermediary variable, and independent physical exercise behavior of college students as the dependent variable, trying to build a theoretical model of the influence of physical fitness test scores on independent physical exercise behavior of college students. Objective: To understand the characteristics of college students' physical health quality test scores, exercise motivation and independent physical exercise behavior.Analyze the influencing factors of college students' exercise motivation and independent physical exercise behavior; To explore the influence mechanism of physical fitness test score on self-directed physical exercise behavior of college students. Methods: The physical health test scores, exercise motivation and independent physical exercise behavior of college students in guizhou Normal University were collected.Descriptive analysis, multiple linear regression analysis,Pearson correlation analysis and other methods were used to analyze the data.AMOS23.0 was used to examine the mechanism of physical fitness test results affecting college students' independent physical exercise behavior.Results:(1)The grade distribution of college students' physical health test results was: unqualified 4.2%,qualified 44.4%,good 46%,excellent5.4%;The grade of physical health test of male students(2.42±0.72)was significantly lower than that of female students(2.63±0.59,P<0.05).The grade of physical health test of urban students(2.41±0.74)was significantly lower than that of rural students(2.56±0.64,P<0.05).(2)The external motivation score of urban students was significantly lower than that of rural students(3.58±1.06 vs 3.85±0.85,P<0.05).(3)The frequency of independent physical exercise of male students was significantly higher than that of female students(5.20±1.87 vs 4.64±1.81,P<0.01).The time of independent physical exercise of boys was significantly higher than that of girls(3.15±1.02 vs 2.79±0.90,P<0.05).The intensity of independent physical exercise of male students was significantly higher than that of female students(2.08±0.952 vs 1.66±0.88,P<0.05).(4)College students' physical health test results significantly affect their exercise motivation and independent physical exercise behavior;Exercise motivation plays a mediating role in the effect of physical fitness test scores on college students' independent physical exercise behavior. Conclusion: There are obvious gender differences in the physical health test scores of college students. There are significant differences between urban and rural college students' external motivation. The duration, times and intensity of independent physical exercise of female college students were significantly lower than that of male college students.Physical health test results have significant influence on the external motivation, internal motivation, the number of independent physical exercise and the duration of independent physical exercise.Physical fitness test results can indirectly affect students' independent physical exercise behavior through exercise motivation.
